Dearbhla Coffey

Dearbhla Coffey is a Spinal Clinical Nurse Specialist at the Princess Grace Hospital. She Trained as a nurse in 1998 in Dublin where she first gained her interest and experience in spinal surgery. She moved to London in 2004 working for eight years within the private sector, specialising in Spinal Dearbhla sees patients throughout their journey in the unit from seeing patients in clinic, assessing them and providing them with information to caring for them as in patients on the ward and continuing to support them following discharge. She is involved in all aspects of patient care and works closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team. Dearbhla is the first point of contact and support for all spinal patients of London Spine Care at Princess Grace Hospital throughout their treatment.

Dr Gerard Hall

Dr Hall qualified from the Middlesex Hospital Medical School in 1982. After junior posts in Gloucestershire, he specialised in rheumatology and internal medicine at St Bartholomew's and St Thomas's Hospitals. He became a Consultant in 1996 and held posts at St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey and then at The Royal London Hospital. He became a full time private practitioner in 2009. He has carried out research in osteoporosis and metabolic bone disorders and spent a year completing his academic studies at the Hopital Edouard Herriot in Lyon, France. He has published several papers relating to osteoporosis and the effects of hormones on arthritis. His 3 private practices are at 30 Devonshire St in Marylebone, The Lister Hospital in Chelsea and The Broadgate Spine and Joint Clinic in the City, near Liverpool St. He has admitting rights to The Princess Grace and The Lister Hospitals. He is a member of the British Society of Rheumatology, the National Osteoporosis Society, the Royal Society of Medicine and the Chelsea Clinical Society. He is listed in The Tatler's review of top private doctors.

Mr Jaykar R. Panchmatia

Mr Jaykar R. Panchmatia is a Consultant Spine Surgeon focused on providing you with an accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and prompt, compassionate, follow-up care. Mr Panchmatia studied Medicine at Cambridge University, which included a clinical attachment at Yale University, USA. He furthered his education as a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University, USA, and was a visiting scholar at the Department of Neurosurgery, Barrow Neurological Institute, USA. Mr Panchmatia was subsequently awarded a Spine Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, USA. In 2015, he was appointed as a Consultant Spine Surgeon at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Prizes awarded to Mr. Panchmatia include the Robert Jones gold medal and British Orthopaedic Association prize; the Fulbright Scholarship; Cambridge University's Oon Khye Beng Ch'hia Tsio studentship; the British Spinal Presidents' Travelling Fellowship; the British Orthopaedic Association's Zimmer Travelling Fellowship; and the Royal College of Surgeons of England's BMI healthcare prize. Mr Panchmatia will apply his academic and clinical background to work with you to design a personalised treatment plan, with the goal of helping you make a quick recovery.
