Andrew Groom

Andy has been working for King County since 1985 and is currently employed by the King County Department of Judicial Administration as a Legal Administrative Specialist (LAS). Andy has been involved in the Public Safety Employees Union since the LAS bargaining unit organized and has served on the Executive Board since 2008, currently serving as President of PSEU.

Dustin Frederick

Job Titles:

Business Manager Dustin Frederick has forty years of experience in public sector Labor negotiations, grievance resolution and collaborative Labor/Management relations. He is a leading Labor representative in Metropolitan King County's efforts to create an effective Labor/Management partnership receiving specialized training at Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government. Mr. Frederick is a certified mediator and member mediator of the King County Inter-Local Conflict Resolution Group. Dustin holds a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Puget Sound and a Bachelor of Commercial Science from Seattle University.

Mary Martinson

The Board of Trustees is responsible for annual review of all disbursements made by the Union to determine if the expenditures have been authorized by the Executive Board through monthly approval of financial reports. The Board of Trustees also ensures that an independent audit is performed each year by a company that is certified by the State of Washington to conduct such audits.

Ron Kintner

Ron started working for the Dept. of Adult & Juvenile Detention in February, 1992 as a Corrections Officer and was promoted in 1997 to DAJD Classification. He was once again promoted in 2007 to Community Corrections Personal Recognizant Investigator Supervisor and later transferred back to DAJD Classification as Supervisor in 2013 to the present. He became the DAJD Management bargaining unit rep in December, 2013 and has a history of active Union participation from previous offices held during his career prior to his promotion in 2007: 21-AD Vice-President 1998-2002, and 21-AD President 2001-2006 prior to his promotion into CCD/DAJD Supervision in 2007. Ron has enjoyed coaching youth sports, football and wrestling, at both intermediate and high school levels for the last 34 years to present.

Sarah Doss

Sarah has been with the King County Jail for 9 years as a Corrections Technician. Before coming to DAJD she was a representative for Communication Workers of America for 10 years. Sarah was the DAJD Non-Commissioned Bargaining Unit Representative from 2012-2016. She was elected PSEU Secretary/Treasurer in 2017 and will serve in a dual capacity as Secretary/Treasurer and DAJD Non-Commissioned bargaining unit rep effective 1/1/2019. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, is an avid Seahawks fan and loves theme parks.

Susie (Akeson) Myers

Susie has been with the King County Sheriff's Office about 16 years and has been working in the Warrants Unit at the Maleng Regional Justice Center most of that time. Before Warrants, she worked in both the KCSO Records and Civil Units. In her free time, Susie enjoys spending time with her family, roller skating/derby, and is a huge fan of Disneyland.
