Alan Ortiz is the AVP of the collections department. He holds a B.F.A in Linguistics and Hispanic Literature and a B.A. in Latin American Studies, both from National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). With a background in social sciences and humanities, he is an experienced editor, translator, and cultural journalist. He is also a published author; one of his books received the International Literature Award Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. He has been a recipient of the Foundation for Mexican Literature Grant and the Mexican Department of Cultural Affairs' Young Artists Program, among other awards and recognitions. He also has been the project manager and social responsibility consultant for several companies and start-ups, including the Goldberg's companies.

Andrew Goldberg is the President of the U.S. Operations. Andrew helped to develop the funding side of our business as an addition to our brokering capabilities. Andrew is currently attending Texas A&M University-Commerce and is set to earn his BS in Business Analytics in 2022. Mr. Andrew Goldberg then plans to attend Law School. Mr. Andrew Goldberg hobbies are video games, golf, and outdoor cooking.

Benito Portillo is our President at Goldberg Hedgefunds SA de CV, our division in Mexico City. Mr. Portillo curriculum was largely prescribed and focused on Latin, Greek, Hebrew, and mathematics. Mr. Portillo earned his BS in Geometry (1967) from UNAM while Mr. Portillo earned his MS in Statistics in 1970 from UNAM. In 1987, Mr. Benito Portillo earned his Juris Doctorate degree from UNAM. Mr. Portillo was a fellow with Banamex from 1971 to 1996 until Mr. Portillo started his firm PFS Insurance Services in Plano, Texas. Mr. Portillo hobby is swimming, hiking, and racquetball.
Daniel Goldberg is the Chief Executive Officer. Daniel Goldberg brings over 20 years' experience in the finance and banking industry. Daniel Goldberg holds a BS In Economics from Texas Tech University 1991. From Texas A&M University Commerce, Daniel Goldberg holds an MS in Economics 2011, Master's in Business Administration (MBA) 2012, MS in Marketing 2013, MS in Project Management 2015, and a MS in Business Analytics 2017. Daniel Goldberg's hobbies are reading science fiction books, bike riding, and golfing.
Magnolia Ortiz is our Mexican Counsel. Ms. Ortiz earn her Juris Doctorate degree from UNAM in
Michael Hall is our Internal Sales Manager. He started his professional career as a pharmaceutical rep for Zenith-Goldline Laboratories. He then went on to become a Senior Sales Manager and corporate trainer/CE instructor for multiple insurance companies that included AIG, Windsor/Infinity, Great American, and Alfa Insurance companies. Mike grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and started attending University of Oklahoma football games at age 6 with his dad who had season tickets all throughout his childhood. Mike later attended the University of Oklahoma just like his Dad and now he is a 25-plus year football season ticket holder carrying on the family tradition while also sharing the experience with his 2 son's, Pierce & Jesse. Mike's hobbies include traveling, visiting museums, playing basketball, hiking, working on his ranch, riding his 500 cc ATV, attending OU college football games, hanging out with his dogs, cooking out, enjoying nature and the great outdoors, spending time with his family and friends, and seeking adventure anywhere he can find it.
