NEWHAM CC

Newham Cricket Club was re-established in 2008 at Flanders Field, in East Ham, starting with a colts' organisation. In its first full season in 2010 the Club had 12 fixtures. In 2012 the Club added an adult section of 2 Saturday teams. In 2016, following the addition of a third Saturday XI the Club hosted over 100 adult and colts' fixtures with a similar number of away matches... The club hosted the first major representative match since the 1980s on August bank holiday Monday 2016 when an East London team took on the Essex County Cricket Club Development Team with over 600 runs scored during the day. The fixture saw a number of ex-Newham CC players return to what was once their home ground. We received a lot of praise for the quality of our ground, facilities and overall standard of the club, and we aim to keep improving...
