He started his entrepreneurial journey after 15 years working in companies like Mitsubishi, Wells Fargo, Go Daddy and ADP. Most recently, he worked to help build, market and acquire Zen4 - a health and wellness company using data to amplify employee engagement. He is an entrepreneur with a broad understanding of leadership, management, strategy and technology.

Sarah Merkle is a Managing Consultant with The Next Step Agency. She has over 15 years experience helping organizations find, develop and retain top talent. She has held key roles with companies like General Mills, AT&T and DIRECTV. While at DIRECTV, she was instrumental in building people and operational plans to support the merger with AT&T. Currently she provides guidance and oversight for The Next Step Agency as a consultant to our clients in the areas of Leadership, Culture and Talent Insights.
