Our company was originally founded in 2007 by Bobby Parks after his successful management of and his departure from one of the largest deck building companies in Atlanta at the time. Historically, Atlanta's construction market is very slow to adapt and implement new building materials and methods relative to other parts of the United States. With the creation of Peachtree Decks and Porches in 2007, Bobby introduced low maintenance decking and other building materials to a market where wood and only wood was king. While he faced an uphill climb, he managed to build the company and its reputation even through recession of 2008. His personal reputation within the industry is unmatched to this day.
