PEERMONT - Key Persons
Mr. Puttergill qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) and spent the early part of his career with KPMG in Johannesburg and London. He joined Peermont's predecessor company in 1999 the group was still in its start-up phase and he was appointed deputy chief executive officer of Peermont in 2002, while also serving as the group financial director. In 2006, he was appointed as the chief executive officer of Peermont which acquired control of the previously listed Peermont Global Limited group in 2007.
He continued to serve as CEO of the Peermont Group until 2015 and then transitioned to a non-executive role, as chairman of the group from 2016 to 2019. Since relocating to New Zealand in 2019, he continues to serve as an independent non-executive director.

Mr. Hardy has over 30 years' experience in the international gaming industry in both operations and financial management roles. After some 18 years of involvement with London Clubs as Finance Director then Chief Operating Officer and most recently as Executive Deputy Chairman, he retired in December 2007. He has since acted as a consultant to the gaming and leisure industry and has advised on a number of casino transactions including that of the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
Mr. Gray joined Peermont in 1998 and has over 28 years experience in the gaming industry. Previously he was with Sun International where he formed part of the opening team of the Carousel. He initiated the financial internal audit department and assisted in establishing the computerised gaming systems in the Bahamas (Atlantis for the Kerzner Group). Mr Gray then joined the Mpumalanga Gambling Board where he was responsible for the set up of the Investigations and Compliance Department and the design of the RFP process, licensee applications, selection process and the investigations into the Applicants before joining Peermont. Mr. Gray holds a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences from the University of South Africa.

Mr. Fouche was appointed as the Group Chief Financial Officer in 2020. He has been with Peermont for 18 years and previously held the role of Group Finance Executive. He was involved in the execution of a number of strategic initiatives which included the listing of Peermont Global in 2004, the acquisition of the Tusk Group in December 2005, the US$ 1 billion buyout, delisting and reorganisation of Peermont in 2007, and the successful recapitalisation and refinancing of the group in 2014 and 2017. Mr. Fouche holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours Degree in Accountancy and Certificate in the Theory of Accounting from the University of Johannesburg. He also has a Certificate in International Treasury Management from the Association of Corporate Treasurers and is a Chartered Accountant (SA).

Dr. Jardine is co-CEO for the Tsebo Group, an integrated facilities solutions provider with offices in 27 countries. He joined Tsebo in 2011 as CEO of Tsebo Catering Solutions, assumed the role of Group COO in 2015 and was appointed into his current role in 2019. Prior to this he was CEO of the J & J Group. Chris has also worked in the IT, logistics, telecommunications, industrials and financial services sectors. He has served on the boards of companies as diverse as MTN, Transnet, Macquarie First South and Union Carriage and Wagons.
Education: PhD in Information Technology and BS and MS degrees in Computer Science, all from the George Mason University in Virginia, USA.

Mr Tavener was appointed Complex Operations Executive of Emperors Palace in July 2017 and has a wealth of experience having held the position of General Manager at Peermont's Umfolozi Resort (Empangeni), in addition to overseeing the group's Graceland Resort (Secunda), Frontier Inn (Bethlehem) and Mondazur (South Coast) properties as Regional Manager. He was also the General Manager at Rio Resort (Klerksdorp) and in 2015 took over the responsibilities of Operations Executive at Peermont Global Botswana. Mr Tavener has graduated from the Executive Management Development Programme (at UCT Business School) and holds a Higher Certificate in Business Management (from Regenesys Business School).

Mr. Milne joined Peermont in 1999 as Group Chief Information Officer. In 2010, he was appointed Special Projects Executive and in 2014 he took on the role of Group IT and Operations Executive. He was previously the Regional Chief Operating Officer for the South African properties, excluding Emperors Palace for a period of 3 years and Group Chief Information Officer for 10 years. He also worked in Operations and/or Information Technology within well-known South African hotel chains, Southern Sun Hotels, Picardi Hotels, Protea Hotels and Stocks Hotels & Resorts.

Mrs. Molefi has 18 years generalist Human Resources experience where her career began at Unilever (Lever Brothers) as Human Resource Generalist. She later moved to De Beers mining where she specialised in Remuneration and Benefits management for both local and expatriate management. She joined the Gambling Industry in 2000 where she established a Human Resources Department for the Gauteng Gambling Board, after which she joined Tsogo Sun. Her current role within Peermont includes organisational development, training and development, employee relations, remuneration and payroll, human resources general management and internal communication management. Mrs Molefi holds a Masters in Human Resources from University of Johannesburg (formerly Rand Afrikaanse University), a B.tech Degree in Human Resources from Cape Town University of Technology (formerly Peninsula Technikon) and a National Diploma in Human Resources from Cape Town University of Technology. Currently, she is completing her Thesis through Milpark Business School and serves on the Fedhasa Inland Board.

Mr Rajoo joined Peermont as the Group IT Executive in November 2022. He spent 26 years at Sun International, where he served in many roles including IT Manager at Sibaya, Group Technical Manager, and Head of Infrastructure and Operations for the Group. He was instrumental in establishing the IT Infrastructure and property openings at all the Southern African (and prior LATAM) properties. Mr Rajoo has graduated Cum Laude from the Durban University of Technology with a degree in Business Management, where he also obtained the Deans Merit for Academic Excellence. He also holds a Certificate in IT Management for CIO Teams from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Certificate in Education from Rand Afrikanse University. Mr Rajoo is a Certified Scrum Master and is also a Certified Prince II Practitioner. He also holds Microsoft Azure Architect Expert Certification focused on Cloud technologies.

Mr. Atherton was appointed as the Group Chief Executive Officer in 2016. Prior to this he was the Chief Operating Officer of Emperors Palace, the group's flagship resort. He was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer for Emperors Palace in 2006 after he rejoined the Group in 2005 as Financial Manager at Emperors Palace. Prior to his return to Emperors Palace, he was the Divisional Director for Finance and Operations at Zenprop Property Holdings (Pty) Ltd. He has held various senior financial positions within Peermont since 1999.

Mr. Baloyi is an entrepreneur based in South Africa. He has been in numerous leadership positions and has over 30 years' experience in the financial services sector. He is a specialist in risk, governance and strategy with significant experience in development finance, enterprise development and institutional capacity building. He was the CEO and MD of the Development Bank of Southern Africa and the DBSA Development Fund from 2006 to 2013. He was instrumental in significantly increasing the size and scope of the bank's activities both locally and into Africa. Mr. Baloyi spent 30 years with Standard Bank and Nedbank. His last position at Nedbank was as MD of Nedbank Africa until 2006, where he established many invaluable business relationships with companies and individuals across the continent. He was the Chairman of the African Capacity Building Foundation, the mission of which is to build human and institutional capacity for sustainable growth and poverty reduction in Africa. He was a council member of the Institute of Bankers in South Africa and served as Chairman of the Nedgroup Medical Aid Scheme. Mr. Baloyi has been and continues to be an independent non-executive director on various boards locally and in Africa and is a member of the Institute of Directors in South Africa.
Education: MBA from Bangor University in the UK, Management of Development Practice from North-West University, Advanced Management Programme qualification from INSEAD in France, and a Senior Executive Programme qualification from Harvard Business School in the USA.
