Joel B. Kundin

Joel B. Kundin devotes his practice to representing employees in workers' compensation and unemployment compensation. He lectures frequently on all elements of the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act. Mr. Kundin was previously on the Board for the Allegheny County Bar Associations' Workers' Compensation Section. Mr. Kundin was a partner with Levine & Kundin from 1999 to 2009, an associated attorney with Blaufeld Schiller & Holmes from 1992 to 1999, a personnel manager with Frito Lay Corporation from 1985 to 1989 and an industrial relations specialist with DuPont Chemical Company from 1980 to 1985. He is a 1992 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School Of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a 1980 graduate of the Cornell Universality School of Industrial and Labor Relations in Ithaca, New York. Mr. Kundin is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. He is currently a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association.

Mitchell H. Dugan

Mitchell H. Dugan compiled experience representing clients at Pittsburgh area law firms and then created a firm that extends legal representation to injured persons without fee unless recovery is made. Mitch has more than 30 years of experience. He focuses on workers' compensation, personal injury and social security disability. Most importantly, he remains committed to trying to help clients get the compensation they may be entitled to. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Mitch practiced at Fingeret, Pollock, Cohen & Zavarella, Stone & Stone and Alexander J. Pentecost prior to starting his own firm in 2000. He also interned in the Allegheny County District Attorney's office and with Zittrain & Zittrain. He has spoken about injuries, workers' compensation and social security disability to audiences throughout the state. He has presented for the Allegheny County Bar Association and has spoken for continuing legal education credits for lawyers with the National Business Institute, Clearwater Information Systems, Inc. and Sterling Education Services, LLC. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives and the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. He is licensed to practice in the Pennsylvania State Courts and in the Western District of the Federal Courts. He also belongs to the North Boroughs Rotary Club where he served as a past President.

Thomas J. McClain

Attorney McClain represents people harmed by auto accidents, truck accidents, slip and falls, workplace accidents, as well as other types of personal injury. With a background in civil rights law, he also represents underserved individuals in cases involving assaults or police brutality. In all of his cases, he recognizes that immense emotional and financial stress a client can face and works to relieve and end that struggle. Before working at Dugan & Associates Mr. McClain ran a successful solo practice. He understands the pressures and joys of being self-employed. Early in his career Mr. McClain was an insurance defense lawyer and an insurance company lawyer. Today, this experience gives him valuable insights into the opposition that he uses to benefit his clients. Mr. McClain is a certified mediator and has extensive experience as an arbitrator. He is a former special agent with United States Drug Enforcement Administration where he was a lead investigator on a multi-agency task force that successfully prosecuted a major crack cocaine organization on the streets of Detroit. Mr. McClain is a graduate of Lehigh University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and is a member of numerous professional associations.
