I was born and raised in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, and learned how to cook fresh, delicious meals from my mother, Penny. My mother used local ingredients in her food, and the fact that our food came from our garden and our fields made the food taste that much better. The hand made food I always took for granted stuck out in my mind when I decided to take the leap to follow my dream of opening my own restaurant, which I named Pretty Penny in honor of my Mom. At The Pretty Penny, we're serving up locally grown cuisine that is familiar to your taste buds and new to your repertoire. I know exactly who grew the food and where it came from.
