Kwik-Blast Limited is a subsidiary of K B Contractors Ltd which has been operating in the concrete industry since 1997, primarily carrying out preventative and routine maintenance on concrete plants and mixer trucks for all the major concrete companies in the Auckland region. Kwik-Blast Limited was incorporated to focus on truck bowl cleaning. One of the services K B Contractors Ltd offered was to manually chip the concrete build up from inside truck mixer units and whilst we have worked diligently to prevent damage, inexperienced operators manually chipping bowls often cause damage that can reduce the lifespan of the mixer unit fins and have even been known to penetrate the shell of the bowl. KB Contractors Ltd has now purchased two Ready Jet® automated high pressure cleaning systems to remotely clean concrete build up from the inside of concrete mixer truck bowls, with new health and safety regulations around confined space entry and the cleaning of mixer truck bowls in particular,..
