Abbi Freifeld Carr is a partner in the Deerfield Beach office of Roig Lawyers and Co-Chair of the Firm's Appellate Practice Group.
She concentrates her practice in the areas of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and No-Fault litigation, with a focus on Fraud (SIU) Investigations, and the defense of hospital lawsuits. Abbi defends claims for alleged unpaid and underpaid insurance benefits. She is also a member of the firm's Appellate Division and provides both traditional and appellate services to the firm's clients.
Abbi represents some of Florida's largest automobile insurers in state courts throughout Florida. Additionally, she has conducted numerous Examinations Under Oath (EUO) on behalf of Florida automobile insurers in the investigation of PIP and No-Fault insurance claims. Abbi is approved by the Florida Department of Financial Services to teach continuing education claims adjusters and also approved by the Florida Bar to teach continuing legal education courses.
Prior to joining the firm, Abbi was employed as In-House Counsel for the residential real estate company of Madison Financial Holding Group. In this capacity, she focused on real estate, employment, and closing-based legal issues.
While in law school, Abbi clerked for the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich, U.S. District Judge for the Middle District of Florida. She also earned her certification as a legal intern from the Florida Supreme Court.
Abbi is involved with several organizations in the community. She is a mentor with the Children's Home Society, an organization that provides a variety of services to help struggling kids, teens and families in Florida. Abbi is also involved with the Ann Storck Center where she has worked on the sponsorship committee for several of their premier events including their annual Celebrity Chefs Food Tasting & Auction. The Ann Storck Center is dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Adam A. Reed is an associate in the Deerfield Beach office of Roig Lawyers. He concentrates his practice in the area of Personal Injury Protection (PIP)/No-Fault litigation.
Managing his own high volume of litigation files, Adam's detailed approach includes analyzing all records and documents available in a case and utilizing all resources at his disposal as a means of resolving cases on his clients' behalf. Alison O. Rosenberg is a senior associate in the Deerfield Beach office of Roig Lawyers and the head of the firm's Workers' Compensation practice group.
Alison represents employers, carriers, third party administrators, and self-insurers throughout all phases of litigation. Her clients range from Fortune 500 companies to closely held businesses. Alison has successfully litigated coverage issues, misrepresentation cases, multiple claimant accidents, death cases, exposure cases, totally controverted cases, collective bargaining agreement cases and PTD cases. Alison has handled matters in both the state and federal courts.

Andrew D. McNamee is the firm's Billing Audit Manager. His primary focus is auditing legal bills for compliance.
Prior to joining the firm, Andrew worked as an Auditor at a legal spend management company as well as a national insurance carrier. He specialized in analyzing complex and large dollar invoices submitted by attorneys, paralegals and legal assistants for compliance. He has negotiated with law firm leaders and individual attorneys to reach final resolution of fee disputes.
Earlier in his career, Andrew served as a Partner at a Florida full-service law firm representing institutional lenders in bankruptcy and litigation matters. He has successfully negotiated and drafted adequate protection, cash collateral and Debtor in Possession financing agreements, as well as plans of reorganization.
Throughout his fourteen-year business reorganization practice, he prepared and objected to a myriad of bankruptcy attorney fee applications, including on behalf of the creditors' committee in the largest homebuilder bankruptcy case in history.
Andrew untangled what the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals called a "complex and intentionally insidious" international scheme to defraud creditors. The scheme involved a total of more than $50 million transferred more than one hundred times among twenty-three different entities. He also earned accolades from the court for deciphering extremely complex issues regarding the intersection of Article 9 and real estate law under a host of different factual scenarios concerning the allowance of $47 million in claims.
Andrew is a native of Massachusetts and has lived in Florida for close to thirty years.

Angelo E. Mancini is an associate in the Orlando office of Roig Lawyers.
Angelo concentrates his practice in the area of insurance defense litigation. Angelo worked for the firm as a law clerk and legal assistant prior to becoming an attorney. As a law clerk, he provided general legal assistance including researching issues regarding PIP and insurance litigation and preparing reports and memoranda.
While in law school, Angelo worked as Student Works Editor for the Penn State Journal of Law and International Affairs where he provided feedback and editorial advice to students whose works were to be selected for publication. While in law school, Angelo also worked as research assistant to Professor Larry Catá Backer where he researched various subjects and edited works to be published in law reviews and academic journals.

Ed Welch is an SIU Consultant in the Deerfield Beach of Roig Lawyers.
As the Firm's SIU Consultant, Ed is instrumental in working with our attorneys on the strategies in their investigations and single file issues, as well as possible issues with treatments billed and associated entities. In addition, he works with attorneys on the SIU team in EUO preparation and strategies. Ed also partners with our attorneys on continuing education presentations on topics regarding insurance industry best practices and trends.
Prior to joining the firm, Ed worked for several years as an SIU major case project lead with a large automobile insurance company. During that time, Ed's investigations lead to millions of dollars in restitution as well as resisting non-meritorious amounts which were submitted then withdrawn by the subject entities. In 2007, Ed was presented the International Association of Special Investigative Units' (IASIU) Investigator of the Year award. That same year he was selected as the Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee's (FIFEC) Investigator of the Year. He also earned his Associate in Claims (AIC) and Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI) designations during that time.
Earlier in his career, Ed spent nine years in the United States Air Force. He and his family enjoyed tours at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Ramstein AB in Germany and Blytheville AFB in Arkansas.

Jenna T. Hackman is an attorney in the Deerfield Beach office of Roig Lawyers.
She joined the firm in 2003 and concentrates her practice in bodily injury/uninsured motorist, personal injury, premises liability, property damage, wrongful death, negligent security and PIP/No fault Litigation with an emphasis on fraud. Jenna handles all matters from pre-suit investigation, including conducting countless Examinations Under Oath, to litigation and trial.
Having successfully prepared and tried numerous jury trials to defense verdicts over the years in bodily injury/personal injury and PIP/No-Fault litigation cases, Jenna established the firm's trial division. The trial division at Roig Lawyers oversees and manages all cases as they near the end of the litigation process and enter the trial period.
