Elizabeth Hamilton

Dr. Rachel is a post-doctoral fellow and a Psychological Assistant working under the supervision of Sonia Greaven, Ph.D. She received her Psy.D. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles. She received her B.A. in Intensive Psychology with Honors, at UC Santa Cruz. Her doctoral dissertation focused on early childhood anxiety. Dr. Rachel has training and experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She has worked as a Behavioral Interventionist, providing children and adolescents with behavioral support and intervention in both home and school-based settings. She has experience and specialized training in working with trauma, ADHD, depression, anxiety and OCD. She also spent a year of her training working in an intensive outpatient treatment program (IOP) for moderate to severe obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety. Dr. Rachel specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders including OCD, panic and phobias utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). She also incorporates parent support, life skill development and mindfulness-based coping skills into her treatment as appropriate to meet each individual's needs.
