Brenden LeFave

Brenden is from Alpena, Michigan, and moved down to the Lowcountry in 2014. He graduated from Wando High in 2018. He started working at his dad's pharmacy when he was 12 years old. He's now working as a Pharm Tech in our Compounding Lab. Brenden spends his free time hunting, fishing, playing basketball and video games.

Carolina Park

Sweetgrass Pharmacy Carolina Park is located in the beautiful and up and coming borough of North Mount Pleasant. This location houses our state-of-the-art sterile compounding lab. We also compound regular prescriptions and fill commercially available medications. Come check us out in our new location!

Dr. Courtney Jarvis - COO

Born and raised in upstate NY, Dr. Courtney Jarvis attended Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany, NY where she received both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees. Upon graduation, Courtney completed a residency focused on providing medication therapy management to patients in a primary care setting. In 2001, Dr. Jarvis became part of the Pharmacy Practice faculty at MCPHS University's School of Pharmacy, in Worcester, MA. In additional to teaching pharmacy students, she helped train medical students and residents at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in the area of pharmacotherapy. Courtney is certified in immunization delivery, medication therapy management and diabetes care. In 2017, Courtney left the cold weather behind, relocated to the low country, and began working at Sweetgrass Pharmacy and Compounding. Courtney lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband, Aaron, and two daughters.

Dr. Cynthia Feldman

A Low country native, Dr. Cynthia Feldman is owner and Pharmacist in Charge at Sweetgrass Pharmacy and Compounding in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. After earning her Bachelor's of Science from Clemson University, Cynthia received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina. She also holds a Master's in Business Administration from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. Prior to opening her own compounding pharmacy, Cynthia worked as the Director of Pharmacy for a large Louisiana hospital and as an Inspector for the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Cynthia is specially trained in the art of pharmaceutical compounding and currently counsels and compounds patient-specific medication for pediatric, geriatric, veterinary, hormone replacement, and pain management patients as well as specialty cosmeceuticals. Cynthia lives with her husband, Josh Feldman, and their children in Mt. Pleasant. She is an active member of the South Carolina Pharmacist Association, the National Chain Pharmacist Association, and Professional Compounding Centers of America.

Dr. Liz Poulos

Dr. Liz Poulos was born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut. After graduating high school, she moved with her family to South Carolina and attended the College of Charleston, completing a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. Liz attended South University School of Pharmacy where she completed her Doctorate of Pharmacy and Master's of Business Administration. After working in retail pharmacy for 6 years, Liz decided it was it was time for a change. Liz is now the new Pharmacy Manager at Sweetgrass Pharmacy. She is excited to take care of her patients and provide them with the care that they deserve. In her free time, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband, Robbie, and her son Sullivan.

Jessica Mixon

Jessica Mixon is a Charleston native. She is a state and nationally certified pharmacy technician with over 14 years of experience specializing in long term care and now enjoys the variety that Sweetgrass Pharmacy and Compounding offers. She is married with two girls, Taylor and Delaney, that attend the local school of the arts.

Jose Torres

Jose was born in Nicaragua, where he studied at the Universidad Cristiana Autonoma de Nicaragua. During his time in pharmacy school, he worked in a medical clinic & pharmacy, as well as, Ramos Laboratories, one of most important pharmaceutical labs in the country. After graduating with a degree in pharmacy in 2013, he continued his professional development at the College of Pharmacy of Costa Rica, where he became certified in various areas of pharmacy, to include braille literacy. In 2015, he moved to South Carolina where he married his wife Rosita and began studying English. Jose joined the Sweetgrass pharmacy team in 2017 with a desire to learn and gain experience in an American pharmacy, while applying his Spanish-speaking skills, knowledge & experience to serve others and improve their quality of life. Jose is currently taking advanced English classes and hopes to begin the process of becoming a US licensed pharmacist.

Josh Sumner

Josh Sumner grew up in Lumberton, a small town in Southeast North Carolina. He completed his undergraduate studies at Clemson University. He went on to receive his PharmD from USC Columbia in 2020. He has 9 years of pharmacy experience, all of which has been spent in an independent retail pharmacy setting. He has a black lab named Diesel. In his free time you can find him attending various Clemson sporting events, hunting with Diesel, and travelling.

Kailey Clark

Kailey is a Charleston native, graduating from the University of South Carolina in 2016, with a BS in Public Health. She then chose to attend the Medical University of South Carolina to pursue her dream of becoming a pharmacist. She began working at Sweetgrass Pharmacy, as an intern during her first year of pharmacy school. She graduated this past May. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Jackson, and her dog, Penny.

Maria Miller

Maria was born and raised in Evansville, IN. She then went down to Auburn University and graduated with a BS in biomedical sciences. After graduating Auburn, she moved to Charleston to attend MUSC College of Pharmacy and is currently starting her 3rd year. In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, reading, and playing tennis.

Megan Prince

Megan is originally from Massachusetts, relocated to West Palm Beach, FL for 10 years, and then moved to Mt. Pleasant, SC, in 2019. She's been a State & Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician since 2009. She enjoys spending her free time with her dog, Coady.

Mia Krall

Mia is a Mt. Pleasant, SC native. She grew up playing soccer and continues her passion in co-ed leagues. On the weekends, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs, Winnie and Warden. They love being outdoors, often strolling the beaches or trails.

Molly Hall

Charleston native, Molly grew up in the Lowcountry with her mother, sister, and brother. She attended the College of Charleston earning her BA in English Literature, and minors in Film Studies and Psychology. Before joining the Sweetgrass Pharmacy team, she was the head-counselor of a local non-profit after school program. She volunteers weekly with Reading Partners, an organization that helps teach at risk youth how to read. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, watching movies, and playing team trivia!

Sylvia Nicole Faulkner

Sylvia Faulkner, originally from Oakland, California, moved to the Lowcountry in 2002, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the College of Charleston. She is a state and nationally certified technician with over 15 years of experience. Sylvia joined the Sweetgrass family in 2021, where she is now the Lead Technician and head of our Dermatology department. She is dedicated to making a difference in our patients lives in ways that are meaningful. Her greatest satisfaction lies in the commitment she has every day in helping to add value to someone's life, and making an impact that will last. In her free time, Sylvia enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
