Transtar was founded in 2005 by Norma Schoondorp, she started the company after having worked in logistics for more than 20 years. Norma was one of the first woman ever employed at a container terminal desk in Rotterdam, which was back in the eighties. Via many different roles within Freight Forwarding she took the next step and started her own business; Transtar Int. Freight b.v. was established.
