Our Founder, Randy Schumacher is an elearning education expert since 2012. Randy has substantial experience and accomplishment in the skill sets of organizational development, online distance elearning, as well as simulation learning. He has over 30 years experience in developing, deploying, and administering professional education through distance learning and other modalities. Randy has held two senior Learning Officer positions. In these roles, he was responsible for organizational development and training for two national firms spanning engineering and internal medicine. is an elearning education expert since 2012. Randy has held two senior Learning Officer positions. In these roles, he was responsible for organizational development and training for two national firms spanning engineering and internal medicine. Randy was Vice President of Training and Development for one of the largest Hospitalist companies, responsible for organizational development and training of a national medical practice with over 2000 full and part time physicians specializing in the field of hospitalist medicine, located in over 150 hospitals and post-acute facilities nationwide. In this role he developed a corporate Learning Management System, delivering over 11,000 online courses per year on 150+ topics. His simulation learning experience spans 32 years, as a former Navy pilot and simulation instructor he brings a unique approach to simulation learning. As a former Vice President of a simulation learning company, he designed and implementing best-practice computer simulation programs. Randy is a merit graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and holds an MBA from the University of West Florida, a master certification in Human Resources Management from Cornell University, as well as advanced studies in Management Information Systems from SUNY, Albany NY.
