Our coffee is more expensive because first of all, we work with a local Roaster, La Colombe Coffee Roasters, who buys beans ethically. Then, the beans are roasted in small batches to assure the best quality. We choose a light roast to best show off the flavors and we buy in small quantities to assure that the beans are fresh. Finally, it's an affordable luxury to drink some of the best coffee, carefully selected and brewed... We strive to promote a sense of community, not only through the products that we sell, but through the whole cafe experience, eg. local artist exhibitions, regular "meet the maker" events... Yes, we recycle. We support ecology and sustainability and we try to keep improving on these issues.
