Arman Taghizadeh

Arman Taghizadeh, M.D. also known as "Dr. T", is a Johns Hopkins trained psychiatrist who is Board Certified in both General Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He also specializes in Sports Psychiatry. He has been selected as a distinguished fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He grew up in the greater Baltimore area and attended the Gilman School where he was a wrestling All-American. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from James Madison University where he was awarded a varsity letter every year on the NCAA Division I wrestling team. He received his M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2004. He completed his General Adult Psychiatry Residency and his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He served as Chief Resident from 2008-2009.

Dr. Margaret Schlossberg

Dr. Margaret Schlossberg came to Baltimore 23 years ago for her post-doctoral clinical training at Johns Hopkins in The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Her research area related to Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT) of Mood and Anxiety disorders in children and families. In addition to her clinical practice, Margaret serves as a Clinical Consultant for The St Paul's Schools, specifically advising faculty in Student Support Services. She has been involved in the Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) within primary and secondary school curriculums, and offers talks on building resiliency and social-emotional strengths in children and adolescents in schools. She completed her Doctorate at The University of Connecticut, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, and attended Bowdoin College for undergraduate studies. She lives in Baltimore with her husband, Simeon, and their 4 children, and has been in private practice in the Greenspring area since 2005.

Simeon Schlossberg

Dr. Schlossberg completed his doctoral studies in Counseling Psychology at The University of Connecticut, and joined the faculty at McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland) in 1997. His research interests include resiliency in adolescent depression, treatment modalities for anxiety in adolescents and adults, bullying and de-escalating power struggles for kids and families, and addressing failure to launch in young adults. He has been in clinical practice in the Greenspring area since 2009, while continuing to teach graduate students as a tenured Professor at McDaniel. He lives with his wife and four children in the Baltimore area.
