The last time I had a proper job was the day I stepped off the " Peron", a scallop trawler in Carnarvon WA. in May 1983, I was not yet 21. Since then I have traded my way across Asia buying and producing what ever held my attention at the time. I have sold jewellery, made clothes, printed fabric, bought antiques, and old houses for their architectural interior, and more recently searched out vintage textiles and elm furniture in China, Laos and beyond... It's been an amazing journey, I have loved and lost, and loved again, been robbed at gun point, hijacked, shot at, suffered trauma and loss, spent years wracked with depression, lost my way and found it again ....it has never been dull, long may it continue !... For over 40 years Yarrow Art Design has imported and sold hand-selected vintage elm furniture, textiles, pottery, objects and rare finds throughout the UK and beyond. Decades of experience buying antiques in Asia has led us to become a trusted wholesaler.
