I began work in the gate and barrier industry 16 years, ago never expecting that many years later I would still be working within this sector. I've worked for Hayler Wason Ltd since 1st September 2020, running the office and providing support for the engineers. I liaise with customers and suppliers and undertake any tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the office. I enjoy all aspects of my work; no two days are the same. It's important to me that customers feel they are getting the best service Hayler Wason can provide.
I have worked within the automated gate sector for more than 16 years. When the company who previously employed myself and Lee closed it was an ideal opportunity to start Hayler Wason Ltd, and we've not looked back. I enjoy working for myself and really like the fact that we are involved with new installations from the initial site visit, providing the quotation, carrying out the install and then the follow-up planned maintenance visits. It's satisfying to see a job well done.

I was very inexperienced when I first started working as a gate engineer in 2013 but over the last few years with support and guidance, I have gained a lot of knowledge, confidence, and experience. I like to see a job from start to finish, from digging the holes to signing off the completed job. It's very satisfying. I live in Frome and it's great to work for a local company based in my hometown.
