Alicia is Simpson & Marwick's Property Marketing Manager and also longest-serving member of the team in North Berwick. Having joined the Litigation Department in 1994, she then moved to the Property Department in 2006. As well as overseeing the day to day running of the North Berwick office, Alicia is responsible for ensuring the accurate marketing of all properties. She is also responsible for all Simpson & Marwick's social media platforms. Having lived in East Lothian all her life, Alicia has a passion for both the East Lothian lifestyle and its people together with a wealth of knowledge of the whole county. She is a very pro-active and extremely enthusiastic member of the North Berwick team and can assist with all aspects of selling in East Lothian.
Carole Seaton joined Simpson & Marwick in 2014 having previously worked in a Customer Service and Financial Services environment throughout her career. Carole's role is to advise clients on the marketing of their property and keep them fully appraised of progress through to negotiating a successful offer on their behalf. She has a professional and friendly approach and builds strong relationships with her clients. Carole strives to provide the highest level of service to clients and customers at all times.
Daniel joined the team in mid-2022 as Senior Negotiator. He has experience successfully negotiating sales and purchases of multi-million-pound properties to quarter share properties, working with various client types in Edinburgh and beyond.
Daniel has worked hard to build up varied and in-depth experience in a range of areas related to property. He is enthusiastic and self-motivated - keeping in mind the need for customer satisfaction always. Daniel is a people person and is adept at relating to the needs of his clients.
Daniel is responsible for the sales performance of a diverse portfolio and is experienced in implementing sales strategies in accordance with his client's objectives while considering market trends. His main focus is to provide an exacting service to all clients.

Deborah is a member of our Remortgage team based in Glasgow and joined the firm on 4 th October 1999 as a filing clerk when the company was known as Turner Macfarlane Green. Over the years she has obtained significant experience in Remortgage and secured lender sectors. Debbie has over 20 years' experience of processing high volume Remortgage transactions whilst delivering an exceptional service to our lender clients. Deborah is a Law Society of Scotland Accredited Paralegal for Residential Conveyancing.

Denise joined Simpson & Marwick in 2016 having worked in several print companies and most recently The Scotsman Property Department. Denise assists the Sales Negotiators and Property Consultants with all aspects of their administration needs and arranges property viewings.
Di joined Simpson & Marwick in April 2010 having owned her own interior and exterior design company for several years. With over 10 years experience in the East Lothian residential property market she has excellent knowledge of the valuation and marketing of properties. She is a well regarded Valuer and Manager of the East Lothian property team. In addition, as Director of Property Sales, she continues to help build an exciting, innovative and dynamic professional services offering. Di prides herself on her professional approach to building strong relationships with clients to ensure the continued delivery of an exceptional client experience.

Fallon is the Head of Corporate Property services having joined the firm in March 2022 from her position as a principal with a well-known Glasgow firm. Fallon completed her LLB (Hons) and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice before obtaining her Masters in Corporate Finance from the University of Glasgow. Fallon specialises in property financing, secured lending, refinances, portfolio sales and acquisitions, acting for developers and investors as well as limited companies in all property related matters. Fallon recognises the need for commercial, clear and solution-based legal advice and she has a reputation of delivering outstanding results for her clients. Fallon is passionate about innovating the delivery of legal services to provide clients with access to modern and accessible services without compromising in service or expertise.

Gemma is the manager of the Remortgage Team and qualified as a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal in 2008. She is an Accredited Paralegal with the Law Society of Scotland. Gemma has been with the firm for 12 years after being with a previous law firm for over 10 years and has extensive knowledge and expertise in volume Remortgage transactions. Gemma is responsible for overseeing the daily running of both our Remortgage and Operational Support teams to ensuring we deliver an excellent service to our clients.
Graham Paisley is an experienced Remortgage case handler with over 12 years' experience in handling Remortgage cases. He joined the firm in November 2022 after 16 years at another law firm. Graham is skilled in handling high volume transactions and providing an excellent service to our clients. Graham also has exposure to handling complex matters which include transfers of title. Graham is currently training to become a qualified Paralegal in Residential Conveyancing supported by CLT Scotland.

Hannah Graham joined Simpson & Marwick in 2013. Her role is to advise clients on the valuation, marketing and sale of their property and to bring new properties onto the market. After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology in 1999 Hannah went on to pursue a career in brand marketing, new build sales and marketing and later advertising. After taking time out to bring up her family, Hannah's passion for property led her to pursue a career in estate agency. Hannah's professional approach builds strong relationships with clients and ensures the delivery of a high quality service.

Heather is a member of our Remortgage team based in Glasgow and joined the firm in May 2021 as a Conveyancing Paralegal specialising in Remortgage work. Heather has 20 years' experience of processing high volume Remortgage transactions. Heather completed her Specialist Paralegal qualification in Conveyancing in 2008 and is a Law Society of Scotland Accredited Paralegal in Residential Conveyancing. Heather has a wealth of knowledge in complex Remortgage issues such as voluntary registrations, transfers of title and Deeds of Postponement.

Jen is the Edinburgh Property Services Manager and has been with Simpson & Marwick since 2004. Her role is to ensure the smooth operation of the department. After studying Business and Interior Design, Jen moved into a career in property in 2002. Starting off in property sales and purchases she then moved on to lettings where she helped set up a letting company which also specialised in renovations. She has now worked in sales within the Simpson & Marwick property team for over 15 years. Jen has a warm and friendly approach, showing sensitivity to clients' needs and always works well under pressure.
Jennifer joined Simpson & Marwick in 2013 having previously held roles in property and financial sales. Her role is to advise clients on the marketing of their property, keep them fully informed as to progress through to negotiating a successful sale on their behalf. She is a highly motivated and professional member of the East Lothian team who is above all customer focused. Jennifer has lived in East Lothian throughout her life and is passionate about the area and its people.

Joan joined our property team in January 2022 having worked for two well-established solicitor estate agents in Edinburgh. With over 7 years experience as a valuer, she brings an excellent level of direct experience and property knowledge with her.
Previous to her career in property she graduated from NCAD, Dublin in 1999 with a degree in Design/Metalwork and later advanced into Interior Design working for some well-known Edinburgh firms. She is delighted to share her knowledge of this sector while visiting clients at home, talking them through the sales and marketing process and providing top tips of how to present their homes to achieve the best results. Joan will be responsible for bringing new properties onto the market and supporting clients throughout the process.
Joanna joined the team in 2021, having worked at another Legal Estate Agency firm in Edinburgh for the last 3 years in a similar role. During that time, she has gained valuable experience of property sales and is passionate in developing the best relationship with her clients. As a sales negotiator, her role is to look after the sales of properties while they are on the market, and guide and advise her clients through to receiving an agreeable offer. Since graduating from Leeds University with a degree on Classical Civilisation, Joanna has always worked in customer facing roles. She has found her passion in the property sales industry and takes delight in offering a friendly and warm service to her clients.

Joty Bakshi Sharma joined Simpson & Marwick in 2016. After Graduating with a BBA in Marketing and Communication she went on to pursue a career in Marketing and Events Management and sales in Vancouver and Edinburgh. After taking time out to raise her family, and successfully establishing a buy-to-let portfolio, her interest in property led her to pursue a career in estate agency. Joty is committed to developing strong relationships with clients and delivering a high level of customer service. Joty plays a large role in ensuring our client's properties are always visible, not only to prospective buyers but through our social media channels as well.
Julie is a Senior Accredited Paralegal with the Law Society of Scotland having joined the firm in October 1994. Julie specialises in high volume Remortgage transactions particularly transfers of title, voluntary registrations and cases of a more complex nature. Julie recognises the demands required by both the lender and the customer to meet their requirements. Julie is dedicated to providing a friendly, detailed assistance and approach to both customer and lender.
Julie joined the firm as a Conveyancing Paralegal back in April 2001 after qualifying in May 1998. Julie specializes in remortgage work, particularly complex remortgage transactions namely, transfers of title, voluntary registrations and Deeds of Postponements. Julie is an Accredited Paralegal with the Law Society of Scotland and provides an excellent service to our clients and their customers.
Karen joined the team in 2021 having worked for another Edinburgh Solicitor firm for the past eight years as Property Manager. During that time, she completed her Specialist Paralegal Qualification in Residential Conveyancing from the University of Strathclyde. Her role is to offer sound advice and guidance to clients in order to achieve optimum results during their time on the market.

Karen Smith joined the firm in 2013. Karen previously carried out administrative roles in a law firm in Edinburgh, a busy school office and a leading communications company. Her current role is to support and assist the Associate Directors and Property Consultants in all aspects of administration preparing properties for market. Karen is a strong team member with a particular focus on excellent customer service and she professionally manages her varied workload to ensure client expectations are exceeded.
Karen is our Service Delivery Manager and qualified as a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal in 1998. She has worked for the firm for over 18 years, specialises in complex cases and is an Accredited Paralegal with the Law Society of Scotland. Karen provides the required MI to our lender clients and is in regular contact with lender clients to review performance and processes.
Kat joined the firm aged 17 in 2004 when the firm was known as Turner MacFarlane Green as an Admin Assistant for the CML Department. In 2006 Kat qualified as a Conveyancing Paralegal and has since continued to work in Remortgage team within the Glasgow Office. Kat has extensive knowledge and expertise in high volume Remortgage transactions after having worked in this sector for over 17 years and delivers an exceptional service to both our lender clients and their customers. Kat also deals with cases of a more complex nature such as transfer of title transactions.
Katie joined Simpson & Marwick in 2009 as a Property Valuer and has since gone on to become one of the Directors of Property Sales for the Edinburgh Office. As well as managing the Estate Agency team her role involves visiting clients in their homes to carry out market appraisals, bringing new properties to the market and advising clients on the sale of their property. Katie graduated from Glasgow University in 1999 with a Business and Marketing degree followed by the IDM Post Graduate Diploma in Direct Marketing at Napier University in 2002. After working in direct marketing, a passion for property led her to set up a property investment company specialising in sourcing, renovating and letting properties. From this she decided to pursue a career as an Estate Agent and has now worked within solicitor estate agents in Edinburgh since 2003.
Laura is a member of our Remortgage team based in Glasgow and joined the firm in September 2022 as a Trainee Paralegal. Laura has 10 years' experience of processing high volume Remortgage transactions whilst delivering an outstanding service to our lender clients and their customers. Laura is focused on expanding her knowledge and understanding of residential conveyancing and will be progressing towards achieving her accredited paralegal credentials in the near future.
Lauren joined Simpson & Marwick in 2021, as an Operational Administrator, supported by the QA Digital Applications Modern Apprenticeship Programme. Following the successful completion of her apprenticeship, Lauren has progressed to join the conveyancing team and is now training to be a paralegal, supported by CLT Scotland.
Linda originally joined the firm in December 2000 as a Paralegal assisting a Partner of the firm before taking time out to travel for a year and returned in September 2003. Linda has worked as a Paralegal in the Remortgage Department since then. Linda completed her Conveyancing Paralegal qualification in 1998 and is an Accredited Paralegal with the Law Society of Scotland. Linda deals with all complex Remortgage issues such as voluntary registrations, transfers of title, Deed of Postponement and delivers a high service standard to our clients.

Matthew Munro joined Simpson & Marwick in 2014 as a Consultant to the residential property department. His role is to carry out pre-marketing appraisals and to advise clients on the marketing and sale of their property. Matthew has over 36 years experience in marketing and the sale and acquisition of prime residential property covering all recognised and renowned residential locations of the city with specific knowledge and experience of town houses and flats within the city centre (New Town and West End) and the detached villas in the surrounding areas within the confines of the city and the Lothians. Matthew attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst before serving with the 1st Bn The King's Own Scottish Borderers.
Neil joined the firm in June 2018 working within our Operational Support Team. Neil started his Specialist Paralegal qualification in Conveyancing in July 2019 supported by CLT Scotland, graduating April 2020, and becoming a Law Society of Scotland Accredited in August 2021. Neil has experience of high volume Remortgage transactions including cases of a more complex nature such as transfers of title and Deeds of Postponement. During his time with the firm, Neil has excelled and provides a high standard of service to our clients.

Nicky is the newest member of the North Berwick team adding value with her extensive experience in new build sales. She is passionate and skilled at providing exceptional customer service to clients and provides a vital role in supporting the sales team to deliver a first class service.
Richard Loudon has been responsible for residential property purchases and sales in Edinburgh and East Lothian for 42 years having joined the firm in 1979 and is now a Consultant focusing principally on the strategic growth of the business. Richard has extensive knowledge of the area and its property market. He continues to deal with the marketing of some properties and the negotiation of some purchases and sales and has always been constantly aware of the importance of providing a first class service to both existing and new clients.
