Alex has worked at Sandy Brown as an acoustic consultant since 2007. Since joining the company, he has worked on diverse array of projects including office buildings, mixed use residential/retail developments, educational establishments and hotels. He has experience in acoustic measurements (both noise and vibration), architectural acoustics, building services noise and 3D computer modelling of both external environmental noise sources and room acoustics. Alex is also involved in the organisation and maintenance of the practice's acoustic measurement equipment.

Andrew has been working as an acoustic consultant since 2005, following completion of his MEng degree at the University of Southampton. He worked at RBA Acoustics and SKM Enviros before joining Sandy Brown in 2011. Prior to joining Sandy Brown, Andrew was involved in architectural and building acoustics projects as well as environmental acoustic assessments for commercial, residential, educational, infrastructure and industrial schemes. Since joining Sandy Brown he has worked on a large range of architectural, environmental and building services projects, specialising in advice relating to residential and commercial schemes.

Anthony has worked since 2006 as an acoustic consultant specialising in building acoustics. He has been with Sandy Brown Associates since 2015, joining the expanding Birmingham office as a senior engineer and becoming an Associate in 2019. His areas of expertise include architectural acoustics and environmental acoustics.

Bob has been employed in acoustics since graduating in 1999. Before joining Sandy Brown in 2001 he was employed by Avalon Communications where he was involved with the design of Electroacoustic systems. Since joining Sandy Brown he has had extensive experience in building acoustics, in particular architectural acoustics and building services noise control. Bob became an associate at Sandy Brown in 2005. In 2007 Bob left the UK to travel in Africa, Australasia and South East Asia. During this time he worked for Wilkinson Murray Associates Pty Ltd in Sydney as a Senior Engineer. In 2009 Bob returned to the Sandy Brown London office as an associate. In 2015 he relocated to establish and lead our Birmingham office. He was promoted to Associate Partner in 2017 and became a Director in 2021.

Gordon studied at the University of Salford gaining a first class honours degree in Acoustics. He is a Member of the Institute of Acoustics. Gordon has been working in Acoustics since 2005, at Sandy Brown and Buro Happold. He has successfully delivered acoustic design advice on a large number of projects including Rockvilla for The National Theatre of Scotland and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. He has advised on the design of a wide variety of buildings including many luxury hotels and specialist facilities with high acoustic performance standards. For his PhD Mark developed new techniques in computer modelling of room acoustics for use in the design of concert halls, studios and theatres. He has also guest lectured in acoustics at The University of Lincoln and University of Salford.

Robert studied Audio Technology at the University of Salford before completing a PhD in spatial sound quality engineering with the Institute of Sound Recording (University of Surrey), working alongside researchers from the BBC and Bang & Olufsen. Following this he joined London South Bank University as part of a research team investigating acoustic conditions in secondary school classrooms and their impact on a pupil's ability to learn. He joined Sandy Brown in 2013 as an engineer and becoming an Associate in 2022. He has provided acoustic design advice for a wide variety of projects within the residential and commercial sectors.
