Bill McSheffery

Job Titles:
  • Director for Business Development
Bill is our Director for Business Development. With over 38 years' experience in the Utilities industry he has been at the forefront of developing competition in the New Connections marketplace bringing value to developers and house builders across the UK. A former Associate Director with Energetics, Bill was instrumental in developing the energetics brand from its inception in 2006 through to 2017. He has extensive industry knowledge in the design, build and adoption of Electricity, Gas and Water infrastructure and connections. Having recently added the iDNO Electricity license to the Indigo brand Bill will continue to extend our value proposition, in asset adoption, to our Utility infrastructure customers & partners.

Danielle Dixon

Job Titles:
  • Finance Manager
Part of the initial Indigo Networks Team in 2014, Danielle has been working in Finance for 11 years, starting as a Trainee Accountant and now has experience in Fund Accounting, Renewable Energy, Biomass Energy and over the past 6 years Gas and Electricity Finance. Danielle has a wealth of knowledge relating to our Suppliers and Shippers and has established great relationships to ensure a smooth and efficient Billing System

Emily Lowther

Job Titles:
  • Business Development Manager
Emily has joined the Indigo Networks Business Development Team to maintain and develop our existing relationships as well as forging and growing new ones with clients such as ICP's, UIP's, utility contractors and consultants across Scotland and the South of England. Having worked in the utilities industry for over a decade, both in the IDNO, IGT and ICP world, Emily is extremely experienced across the entire project lifecycle for both LV and HV projects, for transmission and distribution on both a national and international scale and understands the process from capacity and feasibility POC studies through to design, build and energisation. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked alongside design and construction of gas, water and electricity networks and assets and is ideally placed to help develop the Indigo offering ensuring it meets client expectations and is suited for the project requirements. Emily will also assist the wider Indigo teams by growing the Indigo Networks brand and promoting the fully supported service for the adoption of both gas and electric assets across the utility and new build sectors UK wide.

Emma Dutchburn

Job Titles:
  • Business Development Manager
Emma is one of our Business Development Managers responsible for the Midlands and Northern region of our business. Emma brings over 20 years of experience within the electricity supply industry. She has extensive industry knowledge in the design, build and adoption of Electricity, Gas and Water infrastructure and connections, previously working for the likes of Integrated Utility Services (Northern Power Grid), Clancy Docwra, and Freedom Group. Emma has built a great working relationship with ICPs and developers in the field of residential, commercial, solar farms and wind turbines, and operation and maintenance. Emma brings to Indigo Networks her electrical and mechanical engineering background alongside her great customer relationships skills.

Evelyn Scott

Job Titles:
  • Adoptions Manager
After initial international manufacturing experiences Evelyn moved into the construction industry 17 years ago. She has a particular strength in utility project programming and with her general knowledge of the Construction industry she is able to work closely with our Utility partners in the delivery of the design and build processes required to complete asset adoption. Evelyn has a wealth of experience in process compliance and in supporting our customers to achieve smooth working relationships.

Gareth Arnold

Job Titles:
  • Lead Gas Engineer
Gareth has worked within the utility industry since 1997, where he started as a planning technician with Gas Technology Ltd. An incorporated Engineer with IGEM ,he has spent 23 years in the industry working for various IGT's and has been designing gas networks up to 7 bar in pressure for over 20 years. He won the Welsh Section IGEM Young Persons paper competition with a Paper titled "Flattery Will get you Everywhere". He holds a master's degree, specialising in GPS data capture and has vast knowledge of the 3 main networks analysis tools Synergy, GasWorks and Snap.

Gary Tomlinson - CFO

Gary is a Chartered Accountant and accomplished finance professional with over 20 years' experience in infrastructure, construction, and utilities. He started his career at PwC before working with organisations such as Balfour Beatty plc, Fulcrum Utility Services, T Clarke plc and Rok plc. Gary has led finance functions and major change projects such as ERP system implementations and brings a strong focus on financial management and controls, business performance, and supporting future growth.

Jan Grant

Job Titles:
  • Compliance Manager
Jan joined Indigo Networks as Compliance Manager in September 2019, after spending 24 years with SSE fulfilling a similar role. During her time with SSE she worked for SSE Pipelines as Technical Support Officer for the Assets Team and as a Gas Connections Designer. Prior to that Jan was with their New Housing Group as a Connections Designer designing gas and electricity networks, having also held management roles within the metering business, Jan has a broad depth of knowledge within the utility industry to assist the team in growing the Indigo portfolio.

Katrina Fennings

Job Titles:
  • Office Manager
Katrina joined Indigo Networks as Office Manager in April 2019. She has spent many years of her working life within the utilities industry, including 5 years with SSE, in a variety of administration roles including Human Resources, Programming and Insurance. Katrina's varied skill set allows her to assist the Indigo team in all areas of the business and facilitate her customer service experience in supporting our valued customers.

Lindsay Kinsman

Job Titles:
  • Asset Engagement Officer
Lindsay is one of our Asset Engagement Officers dealing with customer quotations, the acquisition of new customers and maintaining strong relationships with our customers throughout the adoption process. Lindsay has worked within the utilities industry since 2015 with IDNOs and ICPs, therefore has a varied knowledge in the design, build and adoption of Electricity, Gas and Water infrastructure.

Megan Goss

Job Titles:
  • Economist
  • Head of Regulation & Compliance
Megan is an economist who has focused on energy and carbon markets since she started her career in the civil service at the then Department of Energy. Megan held several positions in Ofgas including carrying out one of the earliest Competitive Market Reviews and led the regulatory team as the gas market moved to daily balancing. After moving to the private sector to gain commercial experience she has worked for a major consultancy firm and in regulatory, strategy and trading roles for an energy trader, large energy producer and a large steel manufacturer.

Stu Giles

Stu is an integral part of the new business development team and will be instrumental in engaging with and developing the client base, creating opportunities to help grow our business throughout the UK.Stu joined the team at Indigo Networks with over 25 years' experience in the B2B world, having held some senior managerial & directorship roles within business development, project & account management. Having worked for regional DNO's and ICP's, he has the experience and knowledge of both high voltage private networks, as well as the new utility connections market & asset adoption.He will assist and support the wider sales team by working directly with accredited new connection providers for gas & electric connections. A further part of his role is to provide asset adoption knowledge directly to landowners/developers & utility consultants, as to the IDNO & IGT funding options available, to best support their objectives.

Stuart Ogg

With over 35 years in the electrical networks industry, Stuart has carried out various roles including senior positions covering design and build within SSE, responsible for the delivery of major capital projects. Senior authorised for over 15 years; he has a good understanding of the operational requirements involved when adopting electrical assets. Stuart has a proven track record in project delivery meeting client's expectations when delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.

Terry Dugdale - CEO

Terry Dugdale is Chief Executive Officer at Indigo Networks, appointed by our owners and investors in December 2023 to build on the strong business foundations as a true independent asset owner. He leads our highly experienced and knowledgeable team through an exciting phase of managed growth with our existing and future offerings to the market. Terry will be responsible for implementing the strategic goals of growth and expansion across the Indigo portfolio including Power, Pipelines and Water. He has an unrivalled track record with over 33 years industry experience guiding companies to deliver excellent service for all stakeholders through his customer-focused leadership approach and strategic skillset. He has been instrumental in delivering major growth at industry leading ICPs and IGT/IDNOs through developing a full multi-utility connection offering and is focused to do the same at Indigo Networks. He recognises the highly experienced and knowledgeable people already in place within the business and is confident that as we grow the Indigo brand, we shall continue to deliver real and tangible benefits to our existing and future customers.
