Daniel Epstein - VP

Dan Epstein is an Assistant Professor of Law at St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. Previously, he worked advising startups on regulatory matters at a private equity firm. His federal service includes being a Special Assistant to the President and Senior Associate Counsel to the President, and as a counsel for the House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Earlier in his career, Mr. Epstein founded and ran Cause of Action, a public-interest law firm, where he represented clients in government investigations and litigated regulatory, constitutional, political, and public law matters. He holds a Ph.D. from George Washington University in Political Economy, a J.D. from Emory University School of Law, and a B.A. from Kenyon College.

Gene serves as Vice-President and General Counsel of America First Legal. Prior to AFL, Gene served as Counselor to the Attorney General at the United States Department of Justice from 2017-2021-providing legal advice, counsel, and strategic guidance. He has also served as Senior Counselor to the Secretary of Homeland Security, General Counsel on the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, and served in a variety of other roles at the Department of Homeland Security.

Reed D. Rubinstein - SVP

Reed D. Rubinstein is a former Deputy Associate Attorney General, U.S. Department of Education General Counsel (acting and delegated), and Senior Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury. He spent more than thirty years in the private practice of law, litigating constitutional, administrative, and complex commercial trial and appellate cases; counseling publicly traded and closely held corporations on regulatory compliance, M&A, and transactional matters; and handling Executive Branch and Congressional oversight, investigations, and enforcement issues. Mr. Rubinstein is a 1985 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School.

Stephen Miller - President
