Adam has over 20 years' experience in the mortgage industry in the private, public and nonprofit sectors. Prior to BlueHub, Adam worked as a housing counselor, for a mortgage brokerage and as a fair housing investigator with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Adam graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with bachelor's degrees in economics and Japanese. He also holds a master's of public affairs from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. Adam's Massachusetts mortgage loan officer license number is NMLS #317331.

Andrew Koh

Andrew has over 25 years of operations experience leading professional and nonprofit organizations through growth and transitions. Prior to BlueHub, he was a Product Manager with Dovetail Health, was the COO of ASV Technologies (a bank fraud solutions developer), and an investment banker with Adams, Harkness & Hill, where he completed over 40 financial and strategic advisory engagements. Andrew has a bachelor's degree in economics from Dartmouth College, a Boston University Nonprofit Management Certification '17 and a Project Management Certification. He is also a LeadBoston '13 and serves on the boards of several Boston-area nonprofits.

Anne Cushing

Ariana Mattice-Lybrand

She was responsible for constituent case management and external stakeholder communications, and assisted with legislative research priorities. Ariana holds a BA in political science from Hartwick College and an MPA with a concentration in public policy and nonprofit organizational theory from SUNY Albany.

Arunabha Chakravarty

Arunabha oversees portfolio management, loan operations and servicing, and construction loan management in support of the Loan Fund's community development work. Arunabha has over 12 years of experience in community organizing, affordable housing development and asset management. He most recently served as the Deputy Director of the Mutual Housing Association of New York where he increased and improved access to affordable housing and commercial space and worked to maintain and improve the physical and financial health of a portfolio of more than 2,500 units of housing across New York City. Arunabha holds a Master of Science in Urban Policy Analysis and Management from The New School in New York City and a BA in Economics from Brandeis University.

Autumn McLaughlin

Autumn has been working at the intersection of media, community and government for over 10 years. She comes to BlueHub from Northwind Strategies, a public relations firm where she developed communications campaigns for nonprofits, small businesses and advocacy initiatives. Prior to that, she worked in the Massachusetts State Senate.

Bessie King

Bessie is responsible for ensuring the voice and brand of One Percent for America is accurately represented and shared across multiple platforms to reach borrowers, the public and investors. Before coming to BlueHub, Bessie worked as a digital media manager for corporate organizations and as general manager for her mother's restaurant, Villa México Café. In response to COVID-19, she helped create Massachusetts Restaurants United, a nonprofit that advocates for the survival of local independent restaurants through the pandemic and beyond. She is also involved in other causes, including the Alzheimer Association. In 2023, Bessie was selected by the Boston Business Journal as a 40 under 40 awardee. Bessie holds a BA from Northeastern University in journalism and communication and an MS in digital media from Columbia University. She is a first-generation Mexican American.

Brenda Loya - COO

Brenda works with members of the senior management team to build on the strength of BlueHub's existing programs, while developing new strategies and products consistent with our mission. She works closely with each business line to increase collaboration and efficiency and enable growth. She oversaw affordable housing and community facilities investments, economic development initiatives and environmental justice projects. She has also worked as a community development practitioner at Nonprofit Finance Fund and Citi Community Capital. Brenda has an MBA from Georgetown University and a bachelor's degree in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. BlueHub's COO Brenda Loya said citizenship application fees can add up quickly, especially when several members of a family need to pay the $725 fee. "Families make choices on where they spend their money. If times are tight, it's possible that they won't take the step," said Loya.

Elyse Cherry has served as the CEO of BlueHub Capital since 1997. Under Cherry's leadership, BlueHub has invested over $2.6 billion, leveraged an additional $13.6 billion, and built a national tax credit practice to: finance affordable housing, health centers, schools and other community facilities; provide foreclosure relief through the creation of a mortgage lender aimed at stabilizing urban neighborhoods; create jobs; benchmark and drive down energy and utility costs; promote resiliency; and remove financial barriers to US citizenship. Cherry is a former partner at the law firm of Hale and Dorr (now WilmerHale), where her national transactional practice focused on multi-family and commercial real estate finance and development, affordable housing and open space preservation. Galina Kim

Jacky Lin

He works with a diverse set of borrowers, including real estate developers, charter school and community health center operators, and nonprofit and social enterprises serving low-income families and communities. Before joining BlueHub, Jacky worked at Canada Life Insurance as a senior analyst at their mortgage investment division, specializing in commercial real estate assets across Canada. Jacky holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in finance from Concordia University in Montreal.

Jason Zhang

Johvanna Sampson

At PCDC, she assembled more than $110 million in capital to expand access to healthcare across the country. Johvanna received a bachelor of science in finance from Louisiana State University, and a master of business administration from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA.

Jonathan Coakley

Justin DeAngelis

As Negotiations Manager, Justin oversees the purchase of residential properties that are ultimately sold back to the original homeowners for BlueHub's foreclosure relief initiative, BlueHub SUN. As Staff Attorney for SUN, he also researches regulatory requirements, performs title examinations, resolves title problems and prepares and records real estate documents. In addition, Justin participates in outreach efforts to attorneys, housing counselors and real estate brokers. Justin brings a wealth of experience in consumer credit and debt issues. Prior to BlueHub, Justin practiced law at a firm representing consumer debtors in Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy, during which he advocated for clients in court as they worked to resolve a wide variety of financial difficulties. Justin graduated from Suffolk Law School and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, with a BA in political science.

Karen Kelleher - President

Kathryn McHugh

Lorraine Pappalardo

She began as a part time post closer at the age of 17 and worked her way through the ranks at a wide range of financial institutions, including larger banks like Wells Fargo and Citi Bank and smaller broker shops and credit unions. Lorraine is a board member and volunteer for Harvey's Hope Animal Rescue, a New England-based dog rescue center.

Lubna Maria Elia

Mariel Espinosa

Michele supports Human Resources functions at BlueHub, and has many years of experience skillfully managing administrative duties and reception for her colleagues at the organization to ensure office operations run smoothly. Before coming to BlueHub, Michele worked for the Boston Foundation as an Administrative Coordinator, helping coordinate facility and event operations for the organization. Michele is active in her community and volunteers her time serving on the board of directors for a tenant organization. In this role, she serves as tenant representative to help ensure that the interests of both owners and tenants are considered in the association decision-making process. Michele completed course work at Northeastern University and Roxbury Community College.

Natalie Clouser

In addition, she assists in the execution, management and reporting on membership, donor, borrower and general marketing email and ad campaigns. Natalie is a seasoned marketing professional who is passionate about making a positive impact on the community. Since 2020, she has owned a video production business that collaborates with nonprofit organizations to share their work and mission. Prior to that, she was Digital Communications Manager at BAMSI, a large human service nonprofit in Massachusetts. Natalie holds a BA in advertising from Southern New Hampshire University.

Olga Volfson

Olga came to BlueHub from Linden Ponds, a senior retirement community, where she worked as finance director. She oversaw all the financial operations of the community, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end close as well as resident billing and bond compliance. Prior to joining Linden Ponds, Olga worked at Bank of Boston as an associate in their emerging markets group. She also has experience as a senior auditor at Ernst & Young. Olga is a CPA with a bachelor's degree in accounting from University of Pennsylvania and master's degree in finance from Columbia Business School.

Rachel Serotta

Scott Glucker

Scott works closely with applicants to BlueHub's foreclosure relief program, BlueHub SUN, to help them navigate the mortgage process. Scott brings years of management and customer service experience to his role. Early in his career, he served as an Operations Specialist and air controller in the Navy. He rose through the ranks to Senior Chief Petty Officer and was commissioned as an Operations Officer, serving in Desert Storm. After, Scott worked as the Assistant Adjutant and then as Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping, Assistant Chief Operations Officer and Grant Writer at the Soldiers' Home in Chelsea. He later worked as the Director of Services for Univex Inc. During the pandemic, Scott received his MLO license (NMLS #2156884) and worked at NewFed Mortgage.

Shelley Hough

She has more than 15 years of experience in the corporate and real estate legal field. Shelley graduated with a BA from Winthrop University and received her paralegal certificate from Trident Technical College.
