Lyle Harp - COO, President

Lyle Harp began his construction experience at 4 years old "helping" his dad build an enclosed porch on the family home. A few years later, a new house was in the works. Lyle gained vast experience and valuable problem-solving skills from his father who tackled every project with a meticulous attention to detail and a goal of perfection in everything. After 15 years in Information Technology, Lyle retuned to his construction roots and launched his own company focusing on remodeling and construction of timber frame homes. Lyle is a state licensed residential contractor and has completed over 300 projects including new homes, decks, gazebos, basements, kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-house renovations. Lyle is a co-owner and the President of Operations for Builders America, Inc. When not managing construction projects, Lyle is active with the Cherokee County Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter, paramedic, and public safety diver.

Marla Ramaglia

After 6 years in finance, Marla Ramaglia came to the Builders America family in 2007 as the marketing director of Consult A Home Pro, the network of premier contractors powering Builders America. Marla has used her background in retail sales and television marketing to drive the growth of the organization. In the fall of 2018, Marla became the administrative director of Builders America, responsible for the financial recording, administration, and personnel functions of the company. Marla has lived in Georgia since 1981, currently in Johns Creek with her two adult children.

Sean C. Garnet - VP of Sales

Sean spent 7 years as a home inspector in the Metro Atlanta area. His attention to detail helped him developa keen eye for safety. A couple of years as an estimator and project manager in the commercial and residential painting industry gave him a solid knowledge base in coatings. Sean is going on his 5th year as a certified Radon Testing tech for single family residential dwellings. Sean has spent the past few years concentrating on decks, screened porches, sunrooms and other outdoor construction builds. He uses his skill set to help identify concerns, and deliver customers quotes for their desired projects. He prides himself on telling it like it is, and helping people realize their outdoor living area dreams. He not only enjoys meeting new potential customers, but is an animal lover, and enjoys meeting their family pets too... "Every person has different budgets, wants and needs, and it is my job to listen well and help them to achieve those things as they pertain to outdoor construction projects. I truly love what I do."

Stan Garnet - CEO

Stan Garnet is a code certified building inspector who has been inspecting residential and commercial properties for close to 20 years and his specialty is decks. Understanding how a deck is built and the stages of decay that a deck goes through while it ages is part of Stans' forensic evaluation of existing decks that he inspects. This knowledge along with the deck building codes provide him with the understanding of how to build decks right. Deck Builders America is also an educator to other inspectors, independent and municipal inspectors and contractors. He educates about the anatomy of deck construction, teaches deck building codes and the proper techniques of how to build a safe deck. Stan's motto, "The house can fall but the deck is not going anywhere if it is built by Deck Builders America".
