CUSTOMS EASY - Key Persons

Mauro Giffoni has over 20 years of customs experience. After his diploma in Business Administration, Mauro started his carrier at DG Taxud of the European Commission in the origin department, before to join various industrial companies and work as consultant in a Big4. He worked also as customs expert in an international company specialized in customs software's. Mauro has assisted many companies in different sectors to reduce the costs and risks of international trade, but also supported these companies in setting up effective management of their import / export transactions. Mauro participated in the works for the adoption of the Union customs code at the European Commission, where he represented international associations of customs brokers. He writes articles in European specialist magazines, books on EU customs legislation and is a lecturer at the ICHEC School of Fiscal Sciences in Brussels and at the HEC Management School University of Liège.
