Dr. Goldfarb is by far the best doctor. He is knowledgeable and compassionate. If it was not for him, his swift actions, and his knowledge about SSHL, I am most certain that I would be deaf in one ear today, permanently! First, I was able to schedule an appointment the next day when other ENTs told me to wait. ( I later found out that people with SSHL have a small window of time to seek treatment or the condition is permanent). Dr. Goldfarb took all my symptoms seriously. He went out of his way to get me to see audiologist on the same day by calling multiple locations. He also sent me for an MRI. Normally the authorization for MRI takes 7 days and an urgent MRI authorization takes 4 hours. I had mine in just under one hour. I was also put on the right medicine the same day I saw Dr. Goldfarb.
