Our Mission is to make a positive difference to the lives of active or retired fishermen and their families. We have a presence around the whole of the UK coastline. We are a trusted presence in the UK fishing ports... We can provide practical, financial and pastoral support to anyone who has been a commercial fisherman and their families. We do this in a number of different ways. We can provide emergency financial help, support with budgeting and planning or signposting to longer term help with health, well being and the practicalities of keeping a home together. We offer a 24/7 emergency support to fishermen who have an accident or are taken ill at sea, and if the worst should happen we will be there to offer bereavement support and assistance... The Fishermen's Mission is the only fishermen's charity that provides emergency support alongside practical, financial, spiritual and emotional care. We help all fishermen, active or retired, and their families.
