GOBLE FAMILY FOUNDATION - Key Persons

Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil

True bravery - the kind that calls us to experience potential loss and rejection in the name of justice - is what Brenda exemplifies. In her new book, Becoming Brave: Finding the Courage to Pursue Racial Justice Now, Brenda talks about the moments she chose to respond to the call in front of her, and celebrates the bravery of change makers both past and present. Moving from an approach to justice that sought to water down the message in order to not offend, to speaking the truth regardless of the consequences, we could think of no better human to receive this quarters Freestarter Award. Thank you for your bravery, Brenda. Rev. Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil is a dynamic speaker, teacher, author and reconciliation leader. She is a true freestarter - trailblazing a new path while thoroughly loving and rigorously prophetic. Her mission is to inspire and empower emerging Christian leaders to be practitioners of reconciliation in their various spheres of influence. She is recognized internationally as one of the foremost thought-leaders of reconciliation and was featured as one of the 50 most influential women to watch by Christianity Today.
