KKCF is part of a group of project's that fall under IFC's Fragile and Conflict Situations (FCS) Africa program, which was established in 2014 to support and help grow IFC's investment and advisory engagements in African fragile and conflict situations... The Kakuma Kalobeyei Challenge Fund (KKCF) is the International Finance Corporation (IFC)'s first refugee and host community focused program in sub-Saharan Africa. It enables private investment with the goal of unlocking the economic potential of refugees and their hosts in the Kakuma Kalobeyei refugee-hosting in Kenya's Turkana County.
