For the last 5 years I have worked with Dr David Kerbel to manage the Fantastic Foxes Training Hub covering a number of practices in Leicester City. Our priorities have been to promote inner city working to an increasingly wide variety of students, supporting member practices to become Learning Organisations and encouraging an inter-professional educational approach to day to day activities. An area of particular interest for me has been creating a multi-disciplinary clinical team within our own practice, ahead of the roles now being introduced through the PCN model, and sharing the learning from this with other member practices.

I have also acted as a Mentor for Practice Managers nationally through the NHSE funded support Coaching and Mentoring Programme.
I am enthusiastic about the wider opportunities that we will be able to work on collectively as the LLR Training Hub whilst still balancing the local areas of training interest and needs across the City, East and West. I am also looking forward to being able to act as a conduit between the Training Hub and the other groups that I am a member of.
