Ahmed Saeed Al

M Ahmed serves as Mubadala's Chief Strategy & Risk Officer, where he is responsible for the company's Corporate Strategy, ESG, and Enterprise Risk Management framework. Before his appointment as CSRO, Ahmed was the CEO, Energy at Mubadala Development Company where he oversaw the company's energy assets in addition to being a member of the Investment Committee. Ahmed was also the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Technology Development Committee where his main responsibility was to support the development of Science, Technology and Innovation in Abu Dhabi, through various strategic initiatives as well as through the effective coordination between various government stakeholders. Prior to his appointment to the Abu Dhabi Technology Development Committee, Ahmed was the CEO & Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Ports Company, where he played an instrumental role in the development of Khalifa Port. Ahmed has also served as the Deputy Director of the Infrastructure and Services unit at Mubadala Development Company, where he led a number of major projects and initiatives in the infrastructure and services sectors. Ahmed's diverse professional experience includes several leadership positions as well as board positions on various companies. Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from Boston University.

Badr Al-Olama is the Executive Director of the UAE Strategic Clusters unit within Mubadala's UAE Investments platform which has been formed to accelerate the UAE's economic transformation by investing in national champions, fostering vibrant industrial and commercial clusters, and partnering with world-class global organizations. In addition to his responsibilities in overseeing a diverse portfolio of businesses in multiple sectors spanning across technology, aerospace, and healthcare, Badr is leading a dynamic team that are incubating new sectors and startups to further diversify the UAE's economy, and is also heading the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit (GMIS) - a pioneering collaborative platform that has been jointly established by the United Arab Emirates and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Badr is the Chairman of Strata Manufacturing (Strata), the Sanad Group (Sanad), and Emirates Post Group, and also serves as a Board Director at Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat), Mubadala Health, Shuaa Capital, Oumolat Security Printing, TASIAP GmbH - a joint venture with Daimler AG, as well as a number of automotive and energy joint ventures in Algeria. Through GMIS, Badr also oversees the Mohammed bin Rashid Initiative for Global Prosperity - an open innovation platform that aims to accelerate solutions that solve real world challenges that are linked to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. Nominated as a ‘Young Global Leader for the Middle East and North Africa Region' by the World Economic Forum in 2016, Badr began his career as a lawyer and holds a degree in Shari'a and Law from the UAE University (2002) as well as an LL.M from Harvard Law School (2005).

Dr Maha Barakat

Dr Maha Barakat is the Director General of the Frontline Heroes Office and a Senior Advisor at Mubadala. In addition to being a Board member of Mubadala Health, she is the Board Chair of the RBM (roll back malaria) Partnership to End Malaria, and Board member of the Global Institute for Disease Elimination (GLIDE), the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Quality & Conformity Council, and the Family Development Foundation. She was previously the Director General of the Health Authority Abu Dhabi from 2013-2018. Prior to this, she co-founded the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre in Abu Dhabi, and was its Medical and Research Director. She is committed to supporting medical research, education and quality improvement in healthcare. She holds a PhD from Cambridge University specializing in endocrinology and diabetes.

Mohamed Al Ramahi is the Chief Executive Officer of Masdar, a global clean energy powerhouse active in over 40 countries. Under his leadership, Masdar has developed into one of the fastest-growing renewable energy companies in the world, with a combined global project portfolio of over 20 GW of clean energy capacity and investments valued at over US $30 billion. Mr. Al Ramahi joined Masdar in 2008 and has held senior leadership positions in the company for nearly a decade and a half, serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer prior to his appointment as CEO in 2016. In addition to his role as CEO, Mr. Al Ramahi holds a number of prominent board positions. He is Chairman of the Masdar Investment Committee, Vice-Chair of the Global Council on Sustainable Development Goals, and serves on the Board of Directors for Mubadala Health, Emirates Waste to Energy Company, the Catalyst, and Shuaa Energy 2 PSC, the company that developed phase 3 of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai. A natural collaborator, Mr. Al Ramahi is also an active member of several groups dedicated to facilitating strong international cooperation in the fields of business and sustainability. These include the French Business Group, Australian Business Group, the US-UAE Business Council, and the Sustainable Markets Initiative Taskforce for Energy Transition. Waleed Al

In addition, Waleed is a member of the Board of Trustees of Cleveland Clinic in the United States. He is also a board member of Aldar, Abu Dhabi Global Market, Noon.com, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Hub71, Ellipses Pharma Limited, and Investcorp. Waleed serves as Mubadala's Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer, and has strategic oversight of the company's broad investment portfolio and special projects at the group level. He is also a member of the investment committee, which is mandated to develop Mubadala's investment policies, establish investment guidelines, and review proposed projects and investments to ensure they are in line with business objectives. Waleed is also the Chairman to Mubadala's new investment and business planning committee, which approves deals within a certain financial threshold in addition to the l responsibility of annual and multi-year business planning. Furthermore, Waleed has oversight of the Real Estate & Infrastructure and Disruptive platforms. Prior to joining Mubadala, Waleed worked with the UAE Offsets Program Bureau as a Senior Project Manager. Past roles also include working with McKinsey & Company as a consultant. Waleed holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Harvard University, USA, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, USA.
