NEW HARTFORD AMBULANCE

The New Hartford Volunteer Ambulance Association was formed in 1968. NHVA provides pre-hospital emergency medical care to New Hartford, Barkhamsted and West Hartland. Through Mutual Aid agreements we also provide emergency medical services to our neighboring communities. NHVA Emergency Medical Services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to all those in need. We respond to an average of 1000 emergency calls each year. Currently, NHVA has over 50 volunteers serving as EMTs, Drivers, EMRs and Explorers... New Hartford Volunteer Ambulance is the primary ambulance service for all of New Hartford, the shaded area of Barkhamsted and the shaded area of Hartland. We also provide mutual aid to Winsted and Canton.
