Christoph Schäfers

Christoph Schäfers (born 1966) graduated from the University of Würzburg in 1995 with a degree in business administration. His first professional position after graduation was as assistant to the board of directors at CLF Hypothekenbank Berlin AG, followed by his position as audit assistant in the banking division of the auditing firm KPMG in Berlin. In 2000, he founded Falkenstein Nebenwerte AG, which he took public in 2003 and where he was active as a board member from its foundation until 2009. In 2009, he joined the board of Falkenstein's majority shareholder, Sparta AG, which is also listed on the stock exchange. In 2019, Mr. Schäfers acquired the majority of shares in Falkenstein Nebenwerte AG when he left the Sparta board, and he has been its board member since then. At the same time, he is founder and one of the managing partners of Falkenstein Management GmbH, which acts as sub-advisor of an investment fund. Mr. Schäfers is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of elho AG and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Private Assets AG. Furthermore, he is a member of the board of the non-profit Kreissl Foundation.

Dr. Lukas Lenz

Dr. Lukas Lenz (born 1963) is an entrepreneur and a lawyer admitted to the bar in Hamburg, specializing in stock corporation and capital market law, corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions. He has many years of extensive experience as a supervisory board member in numerous stock corporations. In addition to his activities as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Private Assets AG, he is currently also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of 2G Energy AG, Heek, FALKENSTEIN Nebenwerte AG, Hamburg and ABR German Real Estate AG, Hamburg.

Jutta Bieber

Jutta Bieber (born 1968) graduated in business administration from the Friedrich Alexander University of Nuremberg in 1993. She brings 25 years of experience in international Finance & Accounting and Controlling, for the last 15 years in management, including responsibility for HR, IT, Legal and Purchasing. She has worked for groups such as Procter&Gamble, adidas or KarstadtQuelle as well as for medium-sized, also owner-managed industrial companies, both at holding level and in the operating company. Ms. Bieber has extensive M&A as well as restructuring and transformation experience, also in the private equity environment. In 2014, she moved to Zurich as CFO of Secura Industriebeteiligungen AG, an international fastening technology group. In addition, she was a member of the Board of Directors of Sinterwerke Grenchen AG. Since 2020, Ms. Bieber has been employed by the AMAG Group as CFO of AMAG Corporate Services AG and mobilog AG, a newly spun-off logistics company.

Phillip Borbély - COO

Philip Borbély, born 1975, is responsible for the operational development of the portfolio companies. After studying international business administration (BA) in Germany, England and the USA, he completed an Executive MBA (EMBA) Mergers & Acquisitions at the Vienna University of Technology.

Sven Dübbers

As the sole member of the Management Board of Private Assets, Sven Dübbers (born 1968) is responsible for the areas of company acquisition as well as the operational management and further development of the investments. Sven Dübbers studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and graduated as Dipl.-Ing.. During his studies, Sven Dübbers was already intensively involved in corporate restructuring and M&A, working on numerous restructuring reports for the Treuhandanstalt before moving to the finance department of Procter&Gamble's European headquarters. After gaining experience in a major international corporation, he returned to the German medium-sized business sector. Here, as a consultant and interim manager, he was again intensively involved in corporate restructuring. Before becoming more and more active as an investor himself, Sven Dübbers worked in the operations department of a listed private equity investor for turnaround situations. He looks back on numerous successful realignments under his leadership, including Burmester Audiosysteme, Westfalia Reisemobile, Schleicher Electronic, Sinterwerke.
