Photography has been a passion for me since I first picked up a camera as young boy, in those days you had the excitement of waiting for your prints to come back from the lab and it was important to be as technically precise as possible in order to achieve the best results. In other words to 'get it right first time' and this was the mantra right through my training in college and continued into my first job as an assistant in a Manchester studio... How times have changed! with the advent of digital photography and Photoshop now the common saying is 'I can fix that later' but for me the basic principles of getting it right in camera still holds true, giving better results and a faster turnaround time...
