Chris Dockray

Chris is a member of the St Lukes Medical and Hospital Benefits Association (St Lukes Health) since 1990, Director of Salveo Investments, Director of Salveo Healthcare Services, Remuneration Committee Chairman, Executive and Nomination Committee Chairman, ex officio member of the Audit and Risk Committees. Chris is a legal practitioner, specialising in insurance and corporate law. Chris completed his degree at the University of Tasmania and went on to become a partner with Zeeman Kable and Page for 11 years before setting up his private practice in 1995. Chris was appointed Chair of St. Luke's Private Hospital in 1991 until it was sold to Calvary Healthcare in 2004. He has been Chair of St.LukesHealth for the past 13 years. Chris' strong focus on community has seen him chair the Launceston Steiner School and Springfield Fisheries, vice chair of the Care for Africa Foundation as well as being a director for private start-up companies. Additionally, he was independent Chairman of the Tasmanian Salmonid Industry until recently having served in that role for 15 years. Chris and his wife have three children and spend their time operating the Lalla Flower Farm.

Dr Jerome Muir Wilson

Dr Jerome Muir Wilson is a practising General Practitioner at the Launceston Health Hub, which he founded with his wife, Dr Jaclyn O'Keefe, in 2014. Jerome is passionate about innovative models of care that are patient-focused and sustainable. Jerome is also on the board of General Practice Training Tasmania, further helping shape the future of Tasmania's health professionals. These insights at the board table ensure St.LukesHealth members receive the right care, in the right place at the right time with peace of mind.

James Harrison

James is a Registered Nurse by profession, initially specialising in Perioperative Nursing. He holds a range of professional offices including the president of his local Tasmanian association, followed by the presidency of both the Australian College of Operating Room Nurses and the International Federation of Perioperative Nurses. James has held executive roles with St.LukesHealth for several years and more recently was appointed General Manager of Salveo Healthcare Services - a healthcare service delivery division of St.LukesHealth. Salveo Healthcare Services provides a private post-natal service to the fund's Northern Tasmanian members through a partnership with the Mantra Charles Hotel. The service has also launched an in-home preventative care service for St.LukesHealth members living with chronic disease.

Kym Goodes

As the previous CEO of TasCOSS, Kym was recognised for her work to challenge and change the systems, behaviours and attitudes that lead to inequality and disadvantage. A recognised leader and change-maker, Kym has worked as an advocate and lobbyist on a range of policy, projects and legislative changes that contribute to ensuring everyone has the opportunity to live a good life in this beautiful island state. In addition to her work in her advisory business, Kym is a Director on the Brand Tasmania Board, is the Chair of the East Coast Tasmania Tourism Board, Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania Board, a state council member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is a Director on the Board of Wintringham, a unique national aged care provider supporting older Australians who have spent many years homeless and living in poverty. Further to her governance roles, Kym is a Ministerial appointed member of the Premiers Health and Wellbeing Advisory Council, 26TEN Coalition and the Strategic Growth Industry group. Kym is also a member of the University of Tasmania Policy Exchange and is an advisory group member of the Tasmania Project research being undertaken by the Institute for Social Change. Kym is currently completing her Masters in Leadership at Deakin University. She has post-graduate qualifications in Public Sector Management, Leadership and has studied on campus in Boston at Harvard Kennedy Business School, completing an intensive on Strategic Leadership and Perspectives for Not for Profit Management.

Lara Giddings

Lara graduated from the University of Tasmania with an Arts/Law degree in 1998. She was elected to the Tasmanian Parliament in 1996. During that time, she was appointed as a Minister to various portfolios, including Health and Human Services, where her interest in the health and wellbeing of Tasmanians grew. She was Premier of Tasmania from 2011 to 2014 and retired from Parliament in 2018. Lara joined the AMA as their CEO in March 2019, twelve months after giving birth to her first child. Lara's other Board interests have been supporting her passion for the Arts, joining the Board of the Festival of Voices in 2017 and the Board of Wide Angle Tasmania in 2020. She has also been a founding member and past President of the Van Diemen Dons, an Essendon Football supporters group. She was recently appointed a Patron of the national Justice Reform Initiative, bringing together people with a common purpose to seek reform in our prisons and judicial system.

Martin Rees

Martin was managing partner of KPMG in Tasmania for 20 years and in that role provided strategic consulting services to a number of private health insurers around Australia. Since retiring early from KPMG, Martin has been actively involved in assisting St.LukesHealth with its personal health record project and joint venture investments. Martin is currently acting as an executive director on a challenging commercialisation project in the aquaculture industry. He has also been appointed to director roles with large Tasmanian private companies and is developing his own vineyard and wine business. Martin is currently chairman of St Giles Society and Wine Tasmania.

Paul Lupo

Paul is skilled in strategic and business planning with extensive leadership experience across several industry sectors, including financial services, aquaculture and agriculture. He has managed and led business through significant growth phases and transformational change. Paul holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from the University of Tasmania and is a graduate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants as well as being a Director of Australian Regional Health Group and representing St.LukesHealth as a member of Private Healthcare Australia and Members Health Fund Alliance.

Sheree Jones

Sheree has owned and operated a consultancy business in Tasmania for the last 20 years specialising in workers compensation, injury management, redeployment and case management. Sheree completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Tasmania and has also worked in state and local government. In the past, Sheree has undertaken volunteer work for local charities, sporting associations and schools in addition to various charities overseas that support disadvantaged children. Sheree and her husband have a 12-year-old son and enjoy spending their time travelling, bushwalking, mountain bike riding and visiting the east coast, in particular, Binalong Bay.

Steve McCullagh - CEO

Steve was appointed CEO in July 2023 Steve commenced his working career as a physiotherapist, mainly working in professional sport, including head physiotherapist for the Bulldogs (NRL) and Western Sydney Wanderers (A-League). Since 2015 Steve's focus has been on the development and implementation of innovative health and wellbeing programs across a variety of industries within government and the private sector. In 2019 Steve led the design, implementation and engagement of a bespoke health and wellbeing program for Tasmania's Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM) and Ambulance Tasmania (AT). This led to Steve and his family relocating to Tasmania where they enjoy an outdoor lifestyle and being part of a close-knit community. Steve's career has transitioned from a clinician to a leader of health initiatives, strategy, and change across various industries, which in 2021 led to a senior leadership role as CEO for Healthy Business. In mid-2023 Steve was appointed CEO of Salveo Healthcare to support the company's growth, reach and impact on the health of Tasmanians. As well as Steve's clinical qualifications, he has completed post graduate study in Business and is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course.
