SEAQUAM ROBOTICS

Seaquam Robotics is a student-run organization that competes in the Vex Robotics Competition in both the middle school and high school divisions. Our school has become very successful in VRC, which has made Seaquam Robotics one of the most prestigious Robotics programs in British Colombia. To join our program, students at Seaquam must choose the Robotics course then pass the rigorous interviewing process... Seaquam Secondary School is a grade 8-12 public school located in the Sunshine Hills community of Delta, British Colombia. Since its opening in 1977, it has remained one of the highest ranking schools in all of British Colombia. Interestingly, the name Seaquam was chosen by a contest in which students and members of the community participated. The Board of School Trustees chose "Seaquam" in the end, which means 'the sun' or 'sunshine' in the Musqueam language.
