I am proud to be the Head of School here at Sinnington and be part of this fantastic community school. My teaching career began a number of years ago in inner city Middlesbrough and more recently I have been teaching in Whitby. On a personal note, I am married and a father of 4 boys ranging in age from 6 to 12 years old. As a father, I know how important education is and to get it right for all children, but also that every child learns in different ways. This is something that we are striving towards here at Sinnington and as we have the luxury of small class sizes we aim to make learning personal to every child... The school has four wonderful and vibrant classrooms that provide excellent learning environments. In January 2020, our Pre-school came onto the school site from the local Village Hall and our Reception/Year 1 class moved into our new purpose built classroom.
