We believe in the value of team science and a highly integrated and relationship-based approach to an ambitious research agenda - in our partnership, with interdisciplinary scholars, and with community stakeholders - extending our reach locally and globally. Combining different disciplinary training, perspectives, and expertise led to a passionate shared vision to reduce violence, in all its forms. We are committed to joint leadership and responsibility to build a robust research initiative that is driven by the mission of sparking enlightened discourse regarding violence prevention & intervention that translates to sustainable and efficacious practice and policy... We are a values-driven lab based in the Michigan State University School of Social Work aiming to promote equity & social justice through community-partnered research, training, and practice.
