Tulare County is located in California's Central Valley, a geographically diverse region that dominates the interior of California covering approximately 18,000 square miles, or 11% of California's total land area. About 6.5 million people live in the Central Valley today and it is the fastest growing region in California... Since 1983, the EDC has served as the marketing and business recruitment organization for the communities of Tulare County. Locating more than 100 companies and creating over 13,000 new jobs. This activity has resulted in the investment of $350 million dollars in our local economy.
