The Warford Mortuary was founded in 1962 by Charles E. and Wilma Warford and is the oldest continuously operated African American business in Amarillo. We have proudly served the Texas Panhandle for over 50 years and look forward to continuing service in the years to come. The Warford Mortuary Company LLC is an independent, family-owned funeral service company established by Judge Morris L. Overstreet, who was born and raised in the North Heights community of Amarillo, Texas.
