B & J Engineering was founded in 1972 by father and son Bernard and John Plant. The company had a modest start as a two-man operation and has grown over the years to have a team of engineers working across the whole of the UK. Following the passing of Bernard Plant his son John took on the managing director role, he grew the business and they became a limited company in 2002. John Plant retired in 2019 and handed his business over to client and good friend John Hopwood and his business partner Grant Spink.
