LOAN PROGRAM

One of The Arizona Technology Access Programs (AzTAP) key objectives is to assist consumers and service providers to become better educated about assistive technology (AT). The belief is that knowledgeable consumers are more likely to select technology that best meets their needs if they have an opportunity to learn about and try the technology before purchase. To accomplish this, AzTAP operates short-term equipment demonstration and loan programs. Loan programs allow stakeholders to borrow equipment and try it in their natural environments (home, school, workplace, etc.) to assist them in making a more informed decision as to whether the product and its features will be useful to them. Equipment demonstrations are a guided, hands on exploration with an AT Specialist of equipment/devices and their features.
