Which brings us to Baloo's Chews, an eco-friendly animal products company. Ryan and I were arguing over yet another shitty pollution story while petting Baloo and Pucky. We soon realized the untapped potential power that combining people's love of their dogs and cats could have on impacting the environment in a positive way. Did you know that 91% of plastics produced globally end up in a landfill, ocean, lake, or river stream? This is unsustainable and unacceptable. To help mitigate this onslaught of plastic pollutants, we are working towards connecting U.S.-based plastic waste collectors with U.S.-based plastic manufacturers who can turn the plastic waste into animal products, giving used plastic a second life and preventing its insertion into the environment. We also want to bring longer lasting animal products to market that are organic or recycled in nature... Currently, Baloo's Chews offer recycled rubber balls (Baloo-tested, Baloo-approved) and organic hemp leashes and collars...
