Chad started work as an apprentice on the market floor in 1994 and moved across to Consilium upon the establishment in 1996, where he has worked as a trader, equity and equity derivatives compliance officer, and financial manager. Chad is currently the director of Consilium Corporate and Employee Share Scheme Manager CCESSM

Hartwell Tshuma

Hartwell has over 15 years' experience and wide exposure in the securities and financial sector. For over 10 years he specialised in handling Employee Share Plans and Trust services. After studying BCom in 2001 at Witwatersrand University he joined Georgeson Shareholder services where he was responsible for post-merger clean-ups, before moving to Computershare. Hartwell held various managerial roles within Computershare Investor Services and later joined Instinctif Partners as a senior Investor Relations consultant. He later formed Thembeka Consulting (Pty) Ltd an advisory and employee share administration company. Over the years he has worked on some of the market's major employee share schemes and corporate events such as Telkom Diabo, Kumba Resources, Barloworld, Standard Bank, JSE, Vodacom, Arcelor Mittal, Glencore, Telkom, Netcare, Group Five, Growthpoint, Murray &Roberts to name a few, Iscor/Kumba unbundling, Vodacom YeboYethu listing, MTN Asonge, and various other corporate actions and listings.

Mark Sonik

Mark is the founder of Consilium. He is an authorised member of the Institute of Stockbrokers and has B.Com in Economics from Witwatersrand University. Mark is also a member of the Institute of Directors of Southern Africa and holds the position of director for various companies, including Bakwena Vanadium (Pty) Ltd and Savyon Nurseries Limited (Israel), as well as other entities within the Consilium Group. Futhermore, he successfully manages a Global Macro Hedge Fund out of London.

Xolani Matthew Nhlapo

Xolani Nhlapo has vast experience that spans over 17 years in research, investments, trading and trade settlements. He started his career at Duff & Phelps performing credit ratings on banks, selected sovereigns, municipal authorities and insurance companies. He then joined HSBC Investment Bank in corporate finance and later moved to the derivatives desk. After a successful stint, he joined the Cadiz Group initially in asset management and later moved on to stock broking as a sales trader. In 2011 Nhlapo was promoted to Managing Director. Since January 2014 Nhlapo was the founding shareholders of BPC Capital, a company that focuses on investing in agro-infrastructure and soft commodities trading. He is currently a director and board member at Consilium.
