EPC RECAST

The EPC RECAST approach is focused on the cross-exploitation of building expert knowledge, international standards for the assessment of building energy performance (ISO/CEN, Mandate M/480), smart building technology, available digital BIM technologies and workflows, data sets and inverse modelling. EPC RECAST's offers a significant contribution to the harmonization of the 28+ different approaches and EPC comparability over the EU... Our goal is not to replace professional EPC assessors, but instead to better and further support their work in order to achieve improved EPC reliability, comparability in between building assets, user-friendliness and to ultimately generate an impact for owners and occupants to engage them on a tangible pathway to efficient energy retrofit... EPC RECAST supports real estate and building owners to invest more in building performance improvement. It covers also IEQ, wellbeing, and smartness among others.
