MOATZA

Moatza Mekomit was initially established in 2012 as the umbrella organization for the Israeli community in the New York area as grassroots organization, bringing together dozens of lay leaders who initiate, develop and implement its programs and activity. IAC Moatza has been fostering connections between the Israeli community and the Jewish-American community in the New York area, while acting for the benefit of the State of Israel. Some of the recurring programs that Moatza is heading are the annual career event (in collaboration with Dor Chadash and Mishelanu), 100 Chairs holiday project, Salon Talks in Hebrew, as well as the New York annual Community Empowerment Conference... IAC Moatza was formed in May 2016, when the Moatza Mekomit New York became a merged into the Israeli-American Council in New York, as a program. IAC Moatza is geared towards the adult population.
