David A. Roush has worked in health care as an attorney, regulator, consultant, operator-owner, investor, and public policy advisor.

In 1997 he co-founded a health care organization which today comprises the full spectrum of the Radius Executive Solutions and Radius Health Care Companies. The Companies provide an array of consulting, planning, development and management services primarily in the senior care sector. In 2012 he concluded the successful sale of Radius' owned nursing facilities, which operated nearly 2,000 health care facility beds and employ more than 2,000 employees in programs including skilled nursing facilities, Medicare transitional care, Alzheimer and Dementia Care, assisted living and LTACH Hospital care.
As a consultant, Mr. Roush has specialized in strategic planning, regulatory affairs, network design, project management and facility work-outs. Recent work has included assisting hospitals, nursing homes, senior housing facilities and community based senior care providers look at service diversification and innovative service collaborations.
Prior to 1997 Mr. Roush worked as Principal in the ADS Group for eight years. He served as the Managing Partner of ADS Consulting during this period. His work included directing nearly 100 turn-arounds for troubled nursing facility properties; consulting to more than 40 acute care hospitals concerning selected senior care projects; helping two dozen clients design, approve, build and open new health care facilities; and serving as lead consultant in the first generation of assisted living facility projects in Massachusetts in the early to mid 1990s. Mr. Roush authored a book titled "Integrated Senior Care: Assisted Living and Long Term Manual" for Thompson Publishing Group in 1996.
Before joining ADS, Mr. Roush worked as an attorney and health care regulator for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. His work in government included directing the Patient Protection Office; helping launch Massachusetts' Patient Abuse reporting and investigation unit; starting the State's first Medicare Patient Program; and coordinating several hundred State regulatory enforcement cases involving quality of care and fraud and abuse to the Department of Health and Human Services.
Mr. Roush is a member of Angel Health Care Investors in Boston, a Board member of Vineyard Village at Home, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Democratic National Committee.
He is a graduate of Columbia College and Boston University School of Law.
Diane Norton holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Salem State College with a concentration in Accounting and has over 35 years of related experience. As the Controller of Radius Executive IT Solutions, she is considered to be the lifeblood of the organization. She diligently works behind the scenes to ensure this organization operates in the most efficient manner possible. Her responsibilities include but are not limited to AR, AP, HR, Payroll, Cash Management, Budgets, and Financial Statement preparation and reporting. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and spending time at the beach. She currently lives in Stoneham, MA with her husband and two children.
Dolores Schermer joined Radius Executive Solutions as a Partner in 2013 after 13 years with our former affiliate, Radius Management Services (RMS).
Dolores Schermer joined Radius Executive Solutions as a Partner in 2013 after 13 years with our former affiliate, Radius Management Services (RMS), where she served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer. Radius Management Services owned and managed over 2000 beds in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and was recognized as a quality company providing both staff and residents with a healthcare delivery system fostering individual health and wellness.
Ms. Schermer has extensive experience in the field of elder care, and has spent more than 20 years in management. New venture integration, community outreach, business development, and program implementation are reflective of her skill set which contributed to the growth and success of RMS.
Prior to joining Radius Management Services, Ms. Schermer began her career in eldercare running the day to day operations for skilled nursing facilities for the ADS group. Before entering into her current field, Ms. Schermer was an educator and the Director of Instruction at the Horace Mann Elementary School in Riverdale, New York.
Ms. Schermer also founded Sophisticated Seniors.com, an on-line company which promoted home environment safety and marketed adaptive products for seniors. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer's Services of Cape Cod & The Islands, and on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Senior Care Association.
Ms. Schermer holds a BS in Anthropology from Hunter College and an MS in Educational Administration and Supervision from Manhattan College in New York. She attended the Continuing Care Administration Professional Studies Program at Northeastern University.
Mary L. Davis joined Radius Executive Solutions in July of 2013 bringing nearly 30 years of healthcare industry expertise from across the US. Ms. Davis' talents include operations leadership, business development, marketing and public relations, Joint Commission Accreditation, and a contagious "can do" attitude. Her experience spans long-term care and sub-acute operations, outpatient rehabilitation, and quality assurance with both large, national organizations and regional providers.
Ms. Davis' career began as the Director of Social Service and Admissions in a 400-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility in Washington, DC. She became a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in California in 1990, after traveling as a Quality Assurance Consultant. She was then promoted to the Director of Sub-acute Development on the West Coast. Most recently she was the Assistant Director of Operations for a regional healthcare provider, managing nine skilled nursing facilities in the greater Boston area.
Ms. Davis has a Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University, with a Concentration in Administration and Geriatrics, and a BA in Social Work from Misericordia University.
Michael Carlson is a valued part of the Radius Executive IT Solutions team. As the head of Sales, he helps ensure that new clients can access and benefit from our industry-leading services and solutions.
Michael has more than a decade's experience as a Sales Professional in the Information Technology space. For years he has been developing his expertise in providing best-in-class customer support and solutions consulting. His success in the IT space, and sales, in particular, is based on his unwavering commitment to the customer experience.
Michael has a keen ability to build long-lasting professional relationships, resolve complex issues, and increase revenue. He understands that his critical work with clients calls for patience, professionalism, and creativity. Michael prioritizes the client's needs above all else in everything he does on behalf of Radius.
"I don't see my job as work, I see it as an opportunity to meet and help as many people as I can," says Michael.
In his time as an IT professional Michael has overseen several projects in the non-profit, healthcare, and enterprise spaces. He has managed complicated and robust projects such as complete Network Architecture replacements, Wireless Network buildout for non-profit education centers, as well as adding and consolidating entire sites for multi-location businesses.
When he's not working with Radius clients, Michael volunteers much of his time to our Elder community. In particular, he recently penned an article for the American College of Healthcare Administrators on emerging technology within eldercare.

As an experienced and accomplished Project Engineer/Manager of more than 20 years, Michael has demonstrated success in critical areas from project design, management, and coordination, as well as product simulation, testing & analysis, human relations, and systems launch. In 2004, he designed, developed, and executed the launch of a computer-based inspection software that propelled his service department into the modern age.
With this software, his company was able to provide their customers with digital reports for all the material handling equipment within their facilities. Raytheon, General Electric, Anheuser-Busch, and Pratt & Whitney were a small fraction of the customers that were positively impacted by the application developed by Michael. As a Team Leader, he has been responsible for the engineering and managing of more than 30 projects at a time that ranges in values from 10 thousand to 2 million-plus in revenue.

Philip Cardone is a 15 year veteran in the IT industry who started his career as a helpdesk technician back in 1998 as a part-time employee while earning his BS at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Philip Cardone is a 15 year veteran in the IT industry who started his career as a helpdesk technician back in 1998 as a part time employee while earning his BS at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. After 13 years this company went through many acquisitions until their final acquisition to KDSA Consulting in 2004. During his eight years with KDSA, Mr. Cardone moved through the ranks and ultimately was their Executive Account Manager. He has presented at national IT conferences and has been interviewed by multiple IT magazines and publications.
In 2011, Mr. Cardone moved on from his IT consulting role at KDSA to join the end-user market as Director of IT Services for a Healthcare Management firm called Radius Management Services. He took his vast knowledge of the IT channel and incorporated it into a solid working architecture and built the IT department of 18 nursing homes and a hospital. Mr. Cardone now leads a new division of Radius Executive Solutions and combines his skills and experience with many other talented professionals to offer all aspects of health care consulting.
