Allan Leary

Job Titles:
  • Senior Energy Engineer
As Senior Energy Engineer, Allan is responsible for managing and optimizing energy use within Student Life facilities through projects and energy management plans. Allan also works to promote conservation and reduce the university's carbon footprint by educating students, faculty and staff about energy conservation and sustainability practices. Allan recieved a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Fairmont State Univeristy and a Master of Science in Translational Data Analytics from The Ohio State University.

Aubrie Smith

Job Titles:
  • Manager, Logistics and Implementation
Aubrie provides leadership and direction to the Logistics and Implementation team of Facility Planning and Design. She and her team coordinate the signage needs of Student Life buildings, manage storage and deployment of furniture, equipment and fixtures for all Student Life departments and ensure events and construction projects run smoothly and efficiently. Aubrie earned a B.S. in Allied Medical Professions from Ohio State in 2008 and has worked in Student Life since being hired as a student employee in 2002. She has been full-time with the Office of Student Life since 2008.

Bridgett Keener

Job Titles:
  • Interior Designer
As an Interior Designer, Bridgett creates unique spaces that provide safe, accessible, and inspiring environments for students and staff. Prior to this role, Bridgett worked as a strategic planner for Huntington Bank and as an Interior Designer for Continental Office Environments, focusing on higher education and corporate design. Bridgett earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Bowling Green State University and has worked at The Ohio State University since 2013.

Drew Stark

Job Titles:
  • Receiving and Distribution Coordinator
Drew is a Student Life Facility Planning and Design Logistics and Implementation team member. He assists with delivering and moving various items throughout different Student Life buildings. Drew received his Associate of Arts degree from Columbus State University and will continue to pursue further education at The Ohio State University. Drew joined the Buckeye family in 2022 and is excited to work with you!

Hal Tedrow

Job Titles:
  • Project Administrator
As a Project Administrator, Hal facilitates the strategic planning and administration of internal projects for the Office of Student Life. Supporting projects from multiple disciplines, he coordinates planning, resourcing, budgeting, implementation, reporting, issues management, and change management. Prior to his role at Ohio State, Hal worked as a Senior Business Analyst in Global Strategic Development for The Wendy's Company. Hal earned his B.A. in History from The Ohio State University in 2016.

Jenn Miller

Job Titles:
  • Logistics Coordinator
As a Logistics Coordinator, Jenn works to plan, support and implement a large range of University events and construction projects such as Move-In and Move-Out for the Office of Student Life. Prior to her current position, Jenn served as a staff member in Student Life's Facilities Operations. Jenn earned her Bachelor's in Political Science from Miami University and has been with The Ohio State University for ten years.

Jeremy Gabis

Job Titles:
  • Director
Jeremy provides leadership and direction for the Facility Planning and Design team. He and his team coordinate and complete the annual capital plan for the Office of Student Life, guiding departments through the process from initial concept to completed project. His team also manages facility project planning for renewal & replacement and deferred maintenance projects; conducts facility condition audits; manages space assignments & lease agreements; and provides interior design services for all Student Life facilities and departments. Jeremy earned a B.S. in Architecture from Ohio State in 2007, and has worked in Student Life since being hired as a student employee in 2005. He has been a full time employee with the Office of Student Life since 2007.

Joe Hast

Job Titles:
  • Receiving and Distribution Coordinator
Joe serves as a Receiving and Distribution Coordinator where he assists with deliveries and moving various items throughout different Student Life buildings. Joe has worked for Ohio State since 2003. Prior to his current role as the Receiving and Distribution Coordination, Joe worked in the Surplus department and Student Life Environmental Services. In his free time, Joe likes to bowl and enjoy time with his family.

Joel Sedziol

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
As a Project Manager, Joel coordinates all types of new construction in Student Life Facilities for main campus as well as Newark, Mansfield, and Wooster. Prior to his current role Joel spent 28 years working in Student Life's Facility Operations. Joel earned his bachelor's degree in education from The Ohio State University and has been with Ohio State for thirty years.

John Cronin

Job Titles:
  • Manager, Warehouse and Moving
John has been with Student Life since 2005 and is currently serving in a manager position specializing in moving, logistics, warehouse operations and storage. John also held a managerial position that specialized with the cleaning and delivery of linens for Dining Services. Prior to joining the university,John worked in route sales for Frito Lay and Ameripride linens, specializing in customer service, public relations, sales, inventory control, and route logistics. Outside of work, John likes to interest travel, spend time with family, and work in his yard.

Kevin Bledsoe

Job Titles:
  • Associate Director
Kevin works to help design, plan, and implement infrastructure projects and energy initiatives for the Office of Student Life. In his role, he serves as a liaison with Ohio State's Energy Partner, Engie, to help implement strategies to meet Ohio State's energy reduction goals and reduce the department's carbon footprint and operational energy costs. Kevin is also part of the team planning the future infrastructure needs related to our buildings' HVAC, Life Safety, and utility systems. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Ohio State is 1997 and previously spent 25 years as part of the Student Life Building Automation team.

Kim Traverse

Job Titles:
  • Lead Interior Designer
As an interior designer, Kim creates unique interiors that have a positive impact on both student and staff lives. With a BA in Interior Design from Ohio University and over 25 years of experience, she has a well trained eye for quality, craftsmanship, furnishings and textiles, and creates crisp, timeless style and designs that remain fresh year after year. She offers a balance of creativity, collaboration and forward thinking with a structured, organized and detailed mentality; which enables her to deliver great designs that accommodate the needs and expectations of the end users. Skilled at creating beautiful designs under a variety of budgets, styles, timeframes, and requirements, she remains committed to cultivating valued relationships and helping Student Life departments reach the best version of their overall vision. For each space, Kim develops a program of requirements, which includes space planning, budgeting and estimating. She then creates the construction documents including interior architectural detailing, finish and furniture specifications and ordering items to complete the project. As a Project Manager, she also does move coordination and sees the project to completion. Kim is a NCIDQ Certificate Holder and is a member of AUID. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking as well as spending time with her husband and daughter camping and exploring.

Rob Halliburton

Job Titles:
  • Designer, Graphics and Signage
Rob serves as the Graphic and Signage Designer for the Office of Student Life. He creates various signage that can be in seen in almost every Student Life building on Columbus, Mansfield, Newark and Wooster campuses. Rob has worked for Ohio State since 2001. Prior to his current role, Rob also supported Student Life buildings with maintenance activities. In his free time, Rob likes to work with computers and woodworking.

Rob Lyons

  • Campus Planning Specialist
As a Campus Planning Specialist, Rob ensures that each Student Life department has adequate space to meet their mission, amenities consistent with other Student Life departments, and space information and floor plans maintained. Rob earned a Bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University where he has worked for over twenty years.

Thyrone Henderson

Job Titles:
  • Campus Planning Consultant
As a Campus Planning Consultant, Thyrone facilitates the creation and implementation of physical facilities master planning for the Office of Student Life. Prior to his current role, Thyrone served as an Associate Director in Housing and Residence Education during our $590 Million capital plan for the renewal and expansion of our housing system. Thyrone earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Michigan State University and has been with The Ohio State University since Nineteen-Hundred and Ninety-Eight.
