Alison Schonwald

Alison Schonwald MD, FAAP is a Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician with a BS from Yale University and an MD from the University of Pennsylvania. After 24 years as faculty at Boston Children's Hospital, she now co-owns Touchstone Neurodevelopmental Center, an interdisciplinary practice caring for youth with developmental and behavioral needs. She currently serves on the Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Sub-board of the American Board of Pediatrics and has served on the Board of Massachusetts Early Education and Care.

Ashley Rutledge

Ashley has a degree in Elementary Education with minors in Math and Psychology, from Roger Williams University as well as a STEAM certification. She is an experienced educator and administrator, with experience as the assistant director for a community summer program, assistant teacher at Eliot Pearson Children's School, and program coordinator and teaching artist at The CORE Organization. Ashley is a mom to her two pet rabbits, an Irish dancer, photographer, and avid puzzle solver, and enjoys spending time in the outdoors (especially traveling).

Barbara Evangelista

Barbara specializes in connecting local businesses with families. She published two online parent-focused media outlets for nine years, sharing information with thousands of local followers via social media, a weekly newsletter, and unique community events. She also managed marketing at the Concord Museum and Bose and has a BA from George Washington University. Barbara enjoys reading and traveling as well as camping and hiking with her family of five.

Chris de la Rosa

Chris is a controls engineer who's passionate about building dynamic robots. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and many years of experience in teaching math and robotics. He specializes in mechanical design and control of walking robots and is excited to bring new methods of locomotion to The Robo Hub! He also loves rock climbing and biking in his spare time.

David Yoon

David has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University. He worked on R&D roles and an exciting product launch for wearable tech as an engineer, then shifted gears to teaching math. David loves to discover new creative technology and is passionate about digital animation, music, and VR/AR. He's excited to teach at the Robo Hub and share how fun STEM can be!

Dion Sherman

Dion is an experienced athletic director with a background in sports management and coaching. As Director of Operations for a prep school baseball team, he oversaw player development and logistics. Dion's passion for coaching led him to work closely with youth through baseball camps and clinics, emphasizing skill development and sportsmanship. His commitment to fostering a positive athletic environment continues to make a significant impact on students' lives.

Hyuk-Jeen Suh

Hyuk-Jeen Suh is the General Partner of SkyRiver Ventures, a deep tech-focused cross-border venture capital fund investing in frontier technology companies in North America and Asia. He brings over 25 years of experience in the consumer electronics, biotech, finance, and semiconductor industries. Prior to SkyRiver Ventures, Hyuk-Jeen created and was the head of Samsung Ventures America's east coast office, leading investments across many industries. Before joining Samsung Ventures, Hyuk-Jeen worked at J.P. Morgan investment banking in the Technology, Media, and Telecom group. Prior to J.P. Morgan, he was the global senior business development and marketing manager at MEMSIC, a semiconductor startup with clients in the automobile and consumer electronics industry. He led the global marketing strategy which contributed to the successful IPO of MEMSIC. Prior to joining MEMSIC, Hyuk-Jeen was a senior research engineer at Sequenom, a biotech startup. He conducted research on DNA biochips and high-throughput bio instruments. He began his career at Intel Corporation as a process engineer, leading yield improvement projects for the Pentium microprocessor. Hyuk-Jeen advises startup companies and is a mentor at various startup accelerators in the U.S., Canada, and Asia. He is a guest speaker at universities including Harvard University, Yale University, and MIT. He serves as investor advisor to Yale University's Office of Cooperative Research, startup mentor for the Blackstone Launchpad at Cornell University, and venture mentor at Northeastern University. Hyuk-Jeen earned his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He earned his MBA from Yale School of Management. He holds a BS in mechanical engineering, BA in economics, and ME in electrical engineering, all from Cornell University.

Jason Leung

Jason has always been a puzzle-solver and finding the right career has taken a few different pieces and experiences to fit together. He majored in Cognitive Neuroscience at Brown University, then taught middle school math and science. He is now in the middle of a data science journey that started back at Brown, mastering MATLAB as the data analyst of the Saab neuroscience lab. He's excited to make a positive impact on students while teaching at the RoboHub!

Jocelyn Pern

Jocelyn is a rising junior at Worcester Polytechnic Institute majoring in Mechanical Engineering. She was very involved in the FIRST organization throughout K-12 and is passionate about promoting STEM in the community. Outside of academics, she is an animal lover and spends her time volunteering in her community. She is excited to bring her passion for innovating and collaborating to The Robo Hub!

Justin Harris

Justin brings a rich foundation of education and program design to The Robo Hub. His background includes working as a Program Manager at the Boston Museum of Science and as Director of Learning at Empow Studios, the largest STEM enrichment program in Massachusetts. Justin holds a Masters degree in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology.

Leonid Tunik

Leonid brings his experience as the founder of Empow Studios, the largest STEM enrichment program in Massachusetts, and an entire career of building educational software products for K-12 and higher-ed organizations. He holds an MBA from Boston University.

Matt Segil

Matt is a veteran Math and Science educator and a Teach For America alumnus. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Vermont and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston University. He loves being outdoors, enjoying coffee, and spending time with friends and family! Veteran Math and Science educator Matt Segil serves as The Robo Hub's Director. He is responsible for managing operations, developing course content, and teaching classes. Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Vermont and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston University. Matt is a Teach For America alumnus and holds teaching licenses in both middle school Mathematics and General Science In addition to his work as an educator, Matt is a certified volunteer mediator with the MA Judicial Courts. He also founded and runs programming for the Boston-based interfaith group Bread Breakers. Matt has been nationally recognized for his interfaith leadership and has been invited to speak with both Interfaith America and the U.S. Department of Education. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, music, and being outdoors.

Megan Psyhojos

She got her Masters degree from Lesley University in Science Education and has a passion for bringing high quality education to a broad audience. Outside of teaching, she is an avid reader, enjoys outdoor activities, and spends most weekends watching sports with her family.

Morgan Ullery

Morgan is an experienced K-12 educator and a dedicated manager of K-12 STEAM programs. As a Code Ninjas Center Director, she coordinated programs, staff and curricula. She holds a Master's of Education from Rutgers University and has a deep-rooted passion for nurturing young minds. She loves reading, spending time with friends and family, and hanging out with her one-eyed cat, Jinx.

Noah Fisher

Rick Martin

Rick is a seasoned artist, engineer, and educator with over 10 years of experience in K-12 education. At Archbishop Williams High School, he served as the Art, Music, and Technology Director, taught CAD and programming, coached robotics teams, designed theater sets, and oversaw the Summer enrichment programs. Rick Martin is a seasoned artist, engineer, and educator with over 10 years of experience in K-12 education. As the Art, Music, and Technology Director at Archbishop Williams, he oversaw a comprehensive art curriculum, taught CAD and programming, coached robotics teams, and designed theater sets. Rick also served as the Summer Program Coordinator, creating an enriching environment for students during break. Beyond education, Rick is a dedicated advocate for community service, leading student groups in impactful projects worldwide. His multifaceted approach to education, blending art, technology, and community engagement, reflects a commitment to preparing students for a well-rounded future.

Sarah Meyer

Sarah is on her fourth year of teaching coding and various other STEM topics. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys playing videogames with friends, drinking tea, and cooking for her family.

Xin Liu - Founder

Xin Liu is a Mom of 4, a robotics engineer, and an investor with a particular passion for robotics companies. Xin founded The Robo Hub with the vision of using robotics to connect local communities as well as creating a place where kids can enjoy fun and productive activities. "Moms are all heroes. Let's work together, do something cool for our kids, and make life easier and happier!" Serial entrepreneur Xin Liu founded The Robo Hub with the aspiration to build a community center focused on technology and social connection. With a passion for bringing people together, in conjunction with her investing experience, Xin has successfully helped start over 30 companies. Within the investment industry, Xin is the founder and current President of InTeahouse, a global network of investors, government officials, and other stakeholders in China, US, Germany, Israel, and beyond. InTeahouse has hosted more than 500 companies at industry-specific Summits focused on AI, life sciences, fintech, and other innovation topics across the world. Xin currently resides in Belmont, MA. Xin attended the University of Science and Technology in Beijing, China where she received a degree in engineering followed by a dual E.M.B.A. degree in Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, China, and the University of Texas at Arlington. Xin loves spending time with her four children, traveling, and trying new foods. She also enjoys running, sports and is a big fan of the Boston Red Sox.
